The Lions Dive resort is amazing. I took my two daughters (18 & 11) and we had the best time!! We stayed at the Lions Dive for half of our trip to Curacao and then stayed at another resort for the other half of our trip. The LD was so nice and set the bar so high that when we left and checked in to the second resort it simply didn't stack up. First of all the beach, sand, cabanas, lagoon, food and staff are ALL AWESOME!! Literally not one complaint. I sincerely hope to go back there again someday. I have been to alot of different vacation destinations and my trip to Curacao at the Lions Dive certainly ranks right up at the top. I would tell anyone to go check this place out. I have never seen better beaches/water.

The shallow and calm beach was amazing ! Resort offered free shuttle service daily to Willemstad and to the grocery store which was a nice surprise! We will definitely be back !!

No North American outlets.
A lot was great about this place and we'd come back. A few areas of improvement. Despite Curacao using the North American Type A/B outlets according to numerous sources including the Curaçao Tourism Board, the rooms only had European Type F and they charged $2 for converters. FYI swimming pools close at sunset.

We had a wonderful time and the room and access to the water was amazing. The breakfast could have been a bit better (mimosas on the bar, people!) but other than that, amazing time in an amazing place.

The property was beautiful and we were given a beach bag and Reusable water bottles when we arrived. They did not have our room ready when we first got there, other than that everything was very smooth and perfect!

Hotel is right on mambo beach with plenty of restaurants available. We dove with Ocean Encounters and it was an easy walk to go do our boat dives everyday. Definitely recommend

Great place!
Great Clean place inside and out! Friendly staff that were also attentive to minor issues in room. Nice size beach that you can snorkel on many fish and coral more so on the rougher side of water beyond rocks and at openings in between. Also connects to Mambo beach with a boardwalk that has many Restaurants and shopping. Sea Aquarium next door.

The property is amazing. However, the staff needs to be retrained. In fact, I should have reached out to customer service sooner. Staff - the front desk staff needs to be retrained. We had multiple issues with them. For starters, I booked a resort view room with double beds, which clearly states it sleeps 4. The fees say we would need to pay $25 per additional person. This was fine with us, as expedia does not let you change the guest count when booking packes. 2 of us were coming from NY, 1 from Nashville, and 1 from Houston. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to let them know we would be 4, and I was told this $25 per person fee was only valid for children under the age of 18. This was not clearly stated in the additional fees. We were forced to upgrade our room to an apt for an additional $150 a night. The housekeepers, towel attendants, and bell hop (the best) were all truly amazing. Location- second to none. The beach is gorgeous, so many great restaurants around there. Do not sleep on Hemingway. We traveled to Willemstad but had much better food on the Mambo Beach strip. Easy shopping options and so many excursions available to book from within the hotel. There is also an avis next door if you want to explore on your own. Hotel- the hotel, the rooms, the pool, and the restaurants were all gorgeous. Truly beautiful picturesque surrounding. Our issues seem to all go down to the front desk. Once they fix these issues, this place will be spectacular.

We stayed at LionsDive for my wife’s birthday. The ocean view room was wonderful. The resort was very clean and welcoming. My wife and I enjoyed everything about this resort. All of the bartenders at the Hemingway were great at mixing drinks, especially Thania(I hope it’s spelled correctly)!
