I was very disappointed in my stay at the Viscount gort last night. The room was horribly run down, drywall was falling off the ceiling in the bathroom and the room had a bad smell. The bathtub had someone’s hair in it and the hallway carpet was almost unrecognizable it was so old and dirty. Staff was nice and friendly but the room was unacceptable.

When we arrived there was 15-20 individuals all yelling/loud outside the front doors. There’s a lounge inside and therefore we figured out they were patrons. There was glass glasses on the railings where you park your vehicles- we assume from the lounge. Only encountered one staff member who seemed “inconvenienced” by the fact we were checking in. She was not your normal cheerful/pleasant front desk staff. Hotel had a very smelly odor throughout- it smelled like old stale cigarette smoke. Our room was terrible, clearly heavily smoked in, floor felt sticky, doors safety lock was broken and we could barely get the door handle locked closed. We had to lift the door to get it to latch. Considering we booked the room last minute as we are from out of the city and we had a medical emergency that required us to stay there overnight, it was very disappointing. I paid about $180 for the night with taxes and with the discount- honestly it should be $50/night and I may have been able to overlook the disgusting experience!

They put me In a room with a pool view to start with . I asked to change rooms because of the view then a couple of nights later there was fruit flys in the bathroom so they finally switched me room to another room with no view at all what so every and it turned out there was more flys in that bathroom also . So I just checkout late at night

Bed was too hard to get a comfortable sleep. Too much noise from the streets and airplanes flying above. The hotel room was As basic as a Super 8 nothing special for the price. Lori The bartender that works in the lounge Gave me exceptional service, very friendly, i would go back To give her my business In a heartbeat. That was the only thing that I found exceptional at this hotel

The lobby looked very nice but the first room was given to us was dirty, the bathroom floor was sticky. I asked for a new room and they moved us to a nicer room but the bed was so uncomfortable and the noise from the traffic and the plans I don’t think we slept very much. The staff was very nice.
