With 10,300,000 people calling the capital of South Korea home, you're bound to meet some new friends (or maybe even a new bae) during your stay. Once you've stepped off the plane at Gimpo International Airport and plucked your bags from the carousel, Yongdap-tong will be a drive of 20 kilometres to the east. From the centre of Seoul, it's 7 kilometres to the east.
This city is filled with impressive things to do, and many of them are found near Yongdap-tong. It's difficult to choose the leading attractions, but Dongdaemun Market and Gyeongbok Palace are a couple you shouldn't miss out on. You should also visit the COEX Convention and Exhibition Center and the National Museum. While you're in town, consider checking out a few other neighbourhoods to experience more of what Seoul has to offer. Changanil-tong and Tapsimniil-tong are good suggestions that are within easy reach.
