Close to Yosemite entrance. Lovely property with professional and kind staff. Jackalopes was our only dining option, but the food was wonderful. Our servers were really great too! Highly recommend for a family vacation!

Super close to the park entrance. Not a lot of food options but there is a market and our room had a kitchen.

Staying at the Ahwahnee Hotel. In Yosemite National Park. there's a slice of Heaven. that all people, Should. Have the privilege. to enjoy.

My family of 4 stayed here for just part of our trip- I wish it had been all week! Wonderful setup for families with kids of all ages- we have an 11 and 5 year old. The indoor playground/ game room was so handy when the snow storm rolled in, and the kids had a blast swimming while it was snowing (magical!). A friend and I used the spa after a day of hiking when the storm cleared, also spectacular. The food in the restaurant was great- there was something for everyone. I was particularly impressed with the beet salad and the orange-battered cauliflower. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. I think my only suggestion would be to find a way to put a microwave on each floor. There is one in the laundry room on the ground floor, but families with small children could use a little more convenience for reheating leftovers. Oftentimes small children can't sit through a whole meal and one parent ends up eating something cold later. Not a big deal, just a thought. Everything else was so perfect, probably one of our most enjoyable trips in the Sierra. Our kids will remember it forever, I'm sure.
