Pet friendly accommodation in Yosemite West

Wonderful stay at the Chalet! We enjoyed the All-in-One family Style open kitchen/ dining room/ pool table/ wood fireplace/ wooden A-framed ceiling/ cozy furniture around tv/ starlink. The beds and linens very good/ upstairs master suite has reading nook and a very clean sauna. Family 5-adults. Weekend stay 40min drive to valley for all day sunny hikes. 3” snow night of departure. Very memorable stay!

My family and I had a blast! This place was spacious and clean and the perfect location being a short drive down to the valley. My girls (12, 12, and 5 years old) enjoyed the area around the cabin exploring and building snowmen. The owner was super friendly and communicative. Highly recommend! I hope to come back again!

The property was exactly as listed in the pictures and was a perfect location between Yosemite valley and mariposa grove. The appliances in the property all seemed new and well maintained. When we had an issue with the lock on our 3rd day, the property manager was quick in helping us. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Yosemite Lodge. We were having a memorial for our Mother who loved Yosemite and vacationed there most of her life. The property is able to comfortably handle 8 adults. The large dining area and kitchen were perfect for our family gatherings. Each couple had their own bedroom and with four full bathrooms no waiting for a shower. The house is comfortable with plenty of couches and chairs. There is plenty of parking for the cars. On a lighter note, we enjoyed looking through the extensive VHS collection Michelle has. She even has a VCR to play them on. We did not watch much TV, but you could spend a long winter watching all those movies. With the bar and pool table we kept busy having fun. I would definitely stay again when I need to entertain a large group.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the location in the park. The winding road to get there was a little unnerving; wouldn’t want to drive it in the dark! Beds were comfy and showers were hot. Other than the beds and shower, we didn’t use anything because our stay was just overnight. We saw 2 deer and kept our eyes peeled for a bear which was not seen. My only concern regarding the house was the railing and individual step when approaching the front door. We are in our 70’s and yes a little clumsy but the individual step isn’t as obvious as it should be. I tripped going in, and once again when leaving. Would be nice to have it marked somehow. The railing separating the steps from the deck is pretty flimsy and I’d recommend stabilizing it before another clumsy 70 yr old relies on the railing when stumbling off that pesky individual step. Happy stay in a gorgeous park!
