We had a fantastic stay at Malena Hotel and Suites! The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the overall ambiance was perfect for a great vacation. A special mention goes to Despina, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and her warm hospitality made a huge difference. The rest of the staff was also very friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with anything we needed. We absolutely recommend Malena Hotel and Suites to anyone looking for a great place to stay. We would love to return in the future!

Fantastic hotel. Everything about it, the staff food are excellent as usual. We will keep on coming to this hotel.

We traveled as a family: two of us and our 1.5-year-old. The room we stayed in was spacious. The beds were relatively comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The biggest treat was the view. We had a room on the fourth floor with a spectacular view of the bay and the sea beyond. Breakfast was served on the top floor, and the dining area also had a spectacular view of the sea. The breakfast options were some of the best we experienced, including self-made Greek coffee and a self-assembled traditional Cretan meal, a hand juicer to make your own fresh orange juice an loads of other options for food and drinks. In January, the room was a little chilly and slightly humid, and this was an unpleasant combination. But thankfully the heating element worked well enough, and we made it fairly comfortable in the end. The staff were very friendly. There is a small tea/coffee bar on the ground floor which needs to be serviced by the concierge. There is no tea kettle in the room itself! This was probably the only downside for our stay since we would have liked to warm up some of the water for our daughter or had the ability to make tea ourselves. Lastly, there is a laundry business just a few steps away from the hotel. The man who runs the business dropped off our clean laundry at the hotel. So, keep this option in mind as you travel. As a whole, this hotel was excellent. Get a room with a sea view. It is worth it.

Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional! Having enjoyed several all-inclusive holidays in the past, we can confidently say this one stands out as the best by far. The variety of food options was simply incredible—there was so much to choose from that we were spoiled for choice! From an abundance of healthy dishes to excellent vegetarian options, every meal was a delight. Our room was immaculate, chic, and beautifully decorated, with a spacious and modern bathroom that exceeded our expectations. Housekeeping ensured our room was spotless every day, always adding a personal touch with their care and attentiveness. The restaurants provided top-notch service alongside an impressive selection of dishes. Every meal felt like a special occasion, leaving us consistently impressed. The hotel’s location by the sea was breathtaking. Sipping expertly crafted cocktails on the beach while enjoying the serene views was an absolute highlight. The pizza and burger station added a fun and convenient touch that we absolutely loved. If we could give this hotel more than 10 stars, we absolutely would! We're already planning to explore another Mitsis hotel in the future, thanks to this unforgettable experience. A heartfelt thank-you to the entire team for making our stay so remarkable. My husband and I have both traveled internationally but neither of us have ever experienced the type of gracious and considerate hotel staff. Each and every one we encountered was amazing. This was really proven when my husband, who has heart problems, had to be taken to the hospital. They arranged a car to take me (while my husband was in the ambulance) and deliver both of us back home upon release. This was our first visit to Crete, for our 30th anniversary and we could not have been more pleased with our accommodations.
