Walkable to train station and city center
Nice location about 15 minute walk to Central train station and city center. Comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast, soft & hard boiled eggs, small pancakes, small variety of meat & cheese and breads/pastries. Need to reserve your breakfast time night before as room is not overly large.

Rooms lack conveniences of tables, vanity in bathroom even closet. Only one chair. For an overnight stay this would be ok, but for multiple days you couldn’t really unpack. Staff is top notch and breakfast, even by Holiday Inn status, is mediocre.

I was so nervous about finding a hotel in Amsterdam. Hoilday inn express was familiar (as it’s a popular hotel chain in America) and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and can help order drivers if you need to go some place without walking. If walking is your vibe— The area is very walkable and next door to an AMAZING Sushi place. If I ever find my way back to Amsterdam, i will be staying at the Hoilday Inn express.

We booked this hotel last minute after our previous hotel had bed bugs. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff was amazing. Although they could not accommodate our stay for the entirety of our trip to Amsterdam as it was a last minute booking, the staff offered to help us find another hotel close by. Thank you!
