Air con cannot be independently set
On arrival the room 619 was freezing. We turned on air con and went out. On return the temperature was no better. We reported to the night receptionist who gave us a portable heater. The following morning I did the hotel.com review of checking in etc. Management did nothing before we departed and nobody asked us how our stay was. Also, the tv had only one channel in English.

Comfortable peaceful room in great location
Comfortable and clean bedroom and bathroom which was quiet. The location was great for getting all over the city easily. The decor was modern and fresh. Friendly and helpful staff. The lounge area on ground floor had a nice vibe- would be a good place to get some work done. Only request would be for a kettle in the room, but the reception staff did kindly serve me some hot water for tea downstairs.

Very comfortable
Reception were very helpful in finding me a quieter room when I checked in. The room was very comfortable. The only downside is the lack of a kettle so one can have a drink without having to go downstairs to the restaurant.

Great stay in Amsterdam! Close to the metro station aland some of the tourist areas like the flower market, dam square, shipping etc. In close proximity to the hotel, there's not a lot of restaurants, but if you walk abiut 5-7 minutes, there are many places to choose from. Very clean, friendly staff.

Our "upgraded" room was still fairly small, but that's Amsterdam. The air-conditioning didn't work very well - luckily it wasn't too hot and we could open the window. Location is great - a bit away from the action, but very walkable to many restaurants & attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good VFM hotel. Small rooms but very clean and comfortable. Good location, 5 mins walk to Waterlooplein metro stop which is then 2 stops (approx 5mins) to central station. Rembrandt's House just around corner and about 15mins walk to red light area.
