Though we were initially hesitant when we did the street view of the neighborhood, we really liked the reviews of this property so we took a chance. We are so happy we did! Emilloso, our host, was fantastic! Real epitome of hospitality! We checked in late (nearly midnight) but he made sure we had all the necessary information for our arrival. The next morning we met with him for a meet and greet and he gave us all the information we could have possibly needed for our area and answered all of our questions. We were so grateful for his help with hiring trusted transportation. He regularly checked in on us as we were coming and going, but was not intrusive or pushy. The unit was stocked with the BEST shampoo and body wash, as well as, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper and paper products. It was like a hotel room but we were treated like family in an airbnb. He had great recommendations for sight seeing and places to eat / drink. The laundry facilities were a HUGE bonus (they even provide laundry detergent) and so was the housekeeping. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed our balcony. Apparently, most neighborhoods in Athens have quite a bit of graffiti. Where we are from this in indicative of a 'rougher' neighborhood. We did not feel that was the situation in this case. It is a small apartment complex with several artists and we truly enjoyed our stay no doubt in large part due to Emillioso and our accommodations. If you are one the fence about renting a unit here...JUST DO IT!

The owners were extremely helpful and we as a family truly enjoyed our stay. The lemon tree outside had plenty of lemons, we made fresh lemonade! They had luggage storage before the check in. The apartment was well equipped with all necessities! Location of the property is walkable to the main attractions. We visited the local weekly farmer’s market We will stay here again on our next visit.

Lovely little apartment! Can’t go wrong for the price. Only minor issues I had were the shower temperature suddenly going scalding hot then cold, and the walls are quite thin so you can hear any noise from neighbouring apartments.

Emilio and his brother are owners and are very warm people. We felt so welcomed during check-in. Emilio provided us very detailed info of local sightseeing and food, and he was so patient and proactive. We stayed here one night. It is a quiet nice place and walkable to many attractions which is super convenient. One of the nicest things that they accommodated our check-in and check-out time. We were able to leave our luggage with them and enjoy the entire day luggage-free after check-out. They are just such nice and considerate people. I highly recommend this place and wonderful owner to everyone.

Location is perfect to walk to all the attractions in the city but away from the busy city roads. Apartment was very clean and wifi worked great. Owner was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on attractions and dining. Would stay here again when back in Athens!

From the time I booked this property communication was an AMAZING experience!!! The brothers that own these apartments are beautiful souls. They were professional, friendly, and informative from the start. Their assistance with our airport transfers was phenomenal! Any time I reached out to them even prior to arriving from the States I received a response immediately. They offered information on how to get around, where to eat, and things to do. The restaurants they recommended were a 10 out of 10!!! We visited 2 of them. We requested a late check out and they were able to accommodate my family and me. The hotel/apartments were located near everything. There is a back way to go through the gardens and see the stadium. The opposite direction is to the main road where there are restaurants and stores. Excellent restaurants within a 7-10 minute walk. Many bakeries within a 5 minute walk. Syntagma train station is about a 15 minute walk. There is graffiti in the area which may make some people nervous but the neighborhood is quiet and seemed quite safe. We walked around late night with no worries. Don’t think twice about booking Athens Green Apartments! Just do it. You won’t regret it.
