Lobby needs wallpaper resticking on ceiling. Lobby area a bit sparse & not very welcoming... But room was fine, excellent bed, powerful shower. Tea/coffee making facilities with proper china & glassware. Only thing, and reported on checkout is the door deadbolt didn’t work.

Friendly reception staff. The room was ok, they didn't prepare the roller bedin advance (even though they were notified that we have 3 people), but provided it on demand. Walkable distance to the city centre and the marine/shops/cafes. Aircon in one room, but it was not covering the bedroom. Dishwasher didn't work. Had a washing and drying machines. Overall good for a one night stand.

Quietly hidden in business district. Walkable to most place, some steep hills. Comfortable bed, tiny tv, no drawers for clothing (emptied the kitchen utensils drawers for clothes). Happily utilized the small kitchen & laundry. Hotel is unstaffed from 8pm-8am, so returning from dinner with the front doors stuck in the open position was concerning. There are 2 small sofas in the lobby mostly used for guest waiting for a taxi. There’s no lobby to connect with a friend. With housekeeping only every 3 days, gotta be efficient with topping off coffee/teas and laundry supplies. Consider not leaving dirty linen bags in front of the elevators, including a box of tissue and paper towels (or napkins) in suites with kitchens.

Great location right in the CBD. Walking distance to Sky City, shopping streets and the harbour, as well as the bus station. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy and they were happy to store luggage for free. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was also clean and well equipped. I would stay again and would recommend to others.

Not quite what I was expecting! Although located quite centrally, down a side street and hidden away, street noise was evident from my room on the 1st floor. Noise from neighbouring rooms also quite evident, so if it’s a peaceful and quiet environment you are after, this isn’t it, unless the adjacent rooms aren’t occupied! Staff friendly enough but it is needing a lick of paint in the communal corridors. Parking is very limited and very expensive onsite, also very difficult if you have a larger SUV to park - took a good bit of concentration and skill to manoeuvre in the car park.

I ate my chocolate mouse, staring at the giant LED screen across the road, flashing dreams and prizes, stories untold, old men spouting 'insights'— they sold me ideas, as the bright lights creeped, seeping into my room through edges of closed curtains. Sensitive sleepers, beware, steer clear of rooms ending in five, where the glow fights your dreams, fighting to stay alive. Small room, but just right, warm showers, pleasant and bright. The bed held me tight, the clock—living in its future— we came to an agreement, on the interpretation of time, a mutual understanding, not yours, not mine. The fridge stayed quiet, not a hum, not a fight, just a silent roommate through the night. And the staff? Lovely, kind, they made my stay easy, let me check in early— life felt a little less busy.

It’s not new but well maintained and clean. We can practically walk to everywhere, the park, harbor area and Ponsonby central. There is microwave oven, washer and dryer in the unit which is very useful. Would love to stay here again if we ever visit Auckland.
