From check in to check out the staff at catalonia Hran Via could not have been more helpful. The location is close enough to walk to the ramblas and psg de gracia but far enough removed not to have throngs of tourost outside the door. I had there terrace room which overlooked the pool. . . View wasnt great but a fabulous option if you are a smoker. The welcome goodies basket was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend. . .priced very reasonably for BCN too.

Amazing get away
Modern, clean, comfortable, close to pick up and drop off from the airport. Breakfast was amazing- we were super impressed. Lots of authentic Spanish breakfast delicacies to try. Staff was super helpful and gave us great advice for our holiday. High recommend this hotel

We were 3 adults in a triple and it was cramped. I could touch the feet of my roommates from my bed (I was on the 3rd bed which was basically a couch bed). The bathroom sink was not able to be closed off from the room (no door), so if using the sink area it caused light and noise disturbance for others in the room. Also, the toilet door was just frosted glass and did not provide enough privacy - wish it were a solid door. Also no ventilation in toilet or shower area. And AC was not powerful enough. Not enough space to easily lay out 3 large suitcases but we made do using the desk and a movable unit from under the bathroom sink, and my bag fit in the suitcase area. The beds were comfortable and towels were decent (at least big enough). The room was clean. We would not rate it as a 4 start tho, maybe 3. Expensive for what we got compared to another place in Barcelona and one in Madrid.

Beautiful hotel with amazing staff and service! You can walk to so much from the hotel. Beds are a little firm but we had a wonderful 3 night stay! * The front desk staff and management were so fabulous! Bravo!

The room was in ok condition, furniture had a lot of visible wear, shower door didn’t close, some stains on the mattress cover. It’s in a great location for the airport but still walkable downtown which we really liked. Good for a couple nights but I wouldn’t stay again for a Barcelona based vacation.

We were there for 1 night and it’s a great place for a short time. The staff was very friendly and had a great recommendation for a restaurant close by. The only disappointment was that the bar was closed the night we were there and we were given a 2 for 1 drink ticket which we couldn’t use. We would still be back and would recommend this hotel.
