I have stayed here many times in the past and it has always been a good experience until this time. There was a new girl at the front desk that has nearly zero costumer service skills. I got all unpacked in my room and when I turned on the tv it would not work so I called the front desk and she said she would give me the room next to me instead so I went to get the key to transfer my stuff. When I get to the desk she then tells me I need to get all of my stuff out of my current room first then bring the key down to get the key to the new room. She could have told me this to begin with, before I made the trip down there. So this means I have to repack suitcase and food and leave it all in the hall or tote all it back to the front desk, she states this is policy but on two of my other visits with a broken entry door hinge and a very strong perfume smell when I needed a new room this was not the policy, the staff then was very professional and did not make me the paying customer deal with all the inconveniences for their shortcomings. I’m not sure if I’ll stay here again.

Good stay
This is a No Frills hotel that was a good price for what they had to offer. The room was clean and comfortable. I slept well in the bed. Not any in-room amenities and the TV remote didn't work very well, but apparently they also have a pool and a hot tub. The morning breakfast was quite generous with food items and the hotel had free parking. I would stay here again for a night or two, but probably not a long-term stay. Very close to restaurants, shopping, and easy to get to from where I was working in Madison.

There were a few fast-food restaurants close to the hotel, and the hotel has no restaurant on the property. The good news is that it is a short distance to the highway to get around. A vehicle is needed as there aren’t any convenient places to walk to. I am not aware of how public transportation works for that srea.

Late night landing pad
I had to check in late due to an emergency at home. I had booked through Hotels.com but was charged that night. It was late, I needed sleep. I sent a message the next morning and when I went to check out they had already noted my refund. I really appreciate that! The room was huge and I can see it being great for an extended stay. I grabbed a muffin from breakfast on my way out the door
