Welcoming professional receptionist on check in. Spacious room. Pleasant lobby.
Drinking glasses separate from those provided in the bathroom would be nice. Shower cubicle would benefit from having a door.
Fewer scaled down benefits for IHG Rewards Club Members (drinks vouchers etc) than previously, means that we now book through a third party on line agent rather than directly.
The hotel itself is actually really nice. Unfortunately the comfort fell way short of what I expected. The pillows were the worst I have ever slept on. Also, the bed was not comfortable at all. I arrived with an already saw back and neck, but left in absolute agony. I would have said something at reception, but we were flying away on holiday at 7am the next morning and tried desperately to try and get some sleep.
The location of the hotel is perfect. The staff are also lovely. However, that was all kind of forgotten with the disappointment of the comfort.
The room was nice although too warm. However there was a party on and the music was V loud. To the point our bed was vibrating with the bass. It meant what should have been a relaxing getaway at a stressful family time meant none of us slept properly. We had a tough family visit to a care home on Sunday and the lack of sleep made things distinctly more difficult.
the room is spacious, and we love the design of the bathroom, the lights at the room are also brilliant, staffs are very kind and well-trained. Overall, we enjoyed the stay very much.
The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very comfortable beds and all the standard facilities. Room service was lacking vegetarian or vegan options. Great for a one night stay.

Property location is very good and convenient. However check in was poor and badly understaffed with no corporate checkin system. Leisure facilities are shocking and belong in the 80s!
