I stayed a total of 13 nights to attend my MIT executive education course. The hotel's dining area is only a bar. They lack a proper dining room, but I didn't mind the setup. What REALLY annoyed me was the rude and poor customer service provided by the bartender. I ordered a penne pasta and asked the bartender (there are no waiters) to add chicken on 2 separate nights. I was charged $8 on the first night and $12 on the second. The pasta was the same dish. Since I was charged a different price for the chicken on the second night, I asked the bartender why there was a price difference. He just shrugged and just said I don't know, it is just different. He was annoyed by my inquiry as if I should pay and not bother him. I was already tired from a long day of class at MIT and didn't want to argue. I just paid and barely left him a tip, and left and never returned for dinner again. To top it off, the pasta was terrible. I only ate there because I was too exhausted to walk around in the rain to find another restaurant. Lastly, the hotel charges a $25/night destination fee that was hidden in the fine print when I booked the hotel. The additional cost was a surprise to me. I would not recommend this hotel.

Cambridge Stay

Stayed at the Le Meridien during Marathon weekend. They stay was great and had only compliments with only one complaint - prices were significantly higher than usual due to the marathon. Would definitely return for a non-marathon priced stay.

The beds were super comfortable. There is a restaurant on the first floor for breakfast. Best staff person was the waitress there! Very friendly. One of the elevators did not work well (or at all) and they were fixing it. By the time I got back from dinner it was working. Good value for the money spent.

Easy passenger drop-off with the parking garage next door. Front desk personnel were pleasant and efficient. Nice room with a Keurig and there was a personalized hello on the tv screen when we walked into the room! The next morning we had the breakfast buffet which was quite nice. Would definitely go back!
