The Good: the best views of the Pyramid Complex, bar none. Much closer than we imagined. Even if your room doesn’t have a view (ours did, Room 101), just walk onto the rooftop terrace and feast your eyes on a true wonder of the world.
The Bad: the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in (and that’s saying something!). The elevator shaft seem to be in constant use, connected to our room! Cockerels crowing at the break of day, camels, and horse drawn carts coming through the narrow street below, the sounding of horns, loud conversations, inside and out, windows that cannot be closed. But you don’t come to this location to sleep you come for the view and the close proximity of the most mind blowing historical site.
