The double queen suite had the couch pullout, that was not asswnbled correctly, so it was horrible to sleep on. We ended up putting the couch cushions underneath. The tub did not drain, so after having several people shower, we were standing in water for a long time. No plugs ins available on bed side for devices. We saw 2 skunks running behind the building as we went for a walk. We were not informed how to even use the elevator. That your key was needed to move it.

We enjoyed our stay. I think people are hard on 3 star hotel. This hotel is nice place to stay, inexpensive and easy to get to things to do in Calgary. The beds were comfy and staff was great do deal with and friendly. Yes, its a bit dated but with how busy that hotel is it still a good place to stay.

Where to begin? The room reeked of curry. The walls had plaster in numerous areas in preparation for paint. The carpet had numerous stains. No tissue box. Had to keep window wide open all night to lessen the smell, which meant being awakened by jets flying directly overhead. The bathroom sink porcelain was cracked up and the tub did not drain while I showered so I pulled up on the drain plug assembly which fell apart in my hand. The bed was hard and high in the middle like a speed bump. The drapery was a mess. The tv picture was fuzzy. Absolutely terrible experience.

Worst hotel ever
The room and halls smelled like a mixture of period blood, smoke and urine. Everything was out of service like the ice machines. There was also a dog in the next room that barked all night, I called the front desk at 11pm, 11:45pm and 12:15 am to let them know and the dog kept barking all night. Didn’t get any sleep whatsoever. Do not stay at this terrible hotel!!

Checked in around 8 pm. Booked early in the day for 3 people, room was stocked for only 2. Ordered more towels and someone came to ask me why? Really - yes, they then brought them but….. Sheets were like paper, crackled when you moved so finally threw them off. Bottom sheet never even fit the bed. We have stayed here before and never had this problem. I wonder whatks going on. Will not be staying here again.

Rooms are very affordable and convenient location. Staff service at check in was completely slow. I have checked in at 2pm and there was a line up of 6 people and there was no one to help the front dsk agent. Nadiya wasnt that welcoming to be honest. Looks like she doesnt wanna be there. Room was okay for the price overall just staff need to be more friendlier.
