Purchased a Deluxe Nature View room and received a non Deluxe room with a view of the room top of the first floor. During check-in it wasn't a very pleasant onboarding experience. They just tell you to download the app and everything you need is in the app. Unfortunately when you connect to their free internet it will take you 45 minutes to download it. The app allows you to request maintenance to room and guest services. We had to enter tickets for all types of issues in our room and it says they will be there within a certain time frame but no one shows up, no one calls and the issue isn't fixed.. At one point I had to go down to the front desk 4 times to ask someone to fix our restroom. They would clean the room and only leave 2 towels in a room knowing there are 4 people staying there. I have had better food at many potlucks than the food offerings at the buffet. Was pretty much the same exact thing for each breakfast, lunch and dinner. Reservations to the restaurants were also needed to be made on the app which for 2 of our nights were turned off and you couldn't make reservations. The times if you didn't jump on at 9am and make reservations you may not get one for the next evening. Pool service drinks were like any other all inclusive hotel but food at the pool was below average. Deep fried hot dogs, burgers, cheese quesadillas or nachos is all you could get at the pool. The main family pool only had pool ladders to get in or out.

Resort can use alsome upgrades, room was good, food was average. Was expecting better quality of food. 3 restaurants on the property but you cannot get reservations. You have to wait 2-3 hours in the morning in front lobby to see the hostess to get a reservation if you lucky. And frankly the restaurant food is also not that great so don't waster your time in the morning to get a reservation. Staff is excellent and goes above and beyond to make up for mediocre food quality and dates facility.

The positives: The beach is beautiful and the staff is doing their best to serve an overfilled old hotel. The negatives: long lines at check in, missing towels in the rooms, housekeeping line not answering requests, mediocre food quality and variety. Reservations at the hotel restaurants were almost impossible to obtain due to a faulty app. Our room had an old bathtub that was repainted several times and showed moldy areas. Shower curtain was also moldy. No hot water for showering in the evening due to the busy time. Again, the staff did their best to accommodate our needs but they were severely understaffed.

Nice private beach, but people occupy the beach chairs early in the morning by placing toys and towel. They will be gone for hours for lunch and other activities without allowing other guests to use beach chairs. Managment is not proactive to impose fair rules for all the guests to enjoy beach. Food quality is average. Service is average. Phones and shower do not work properly.

Impossible to reserve spots at their restaurants. Food was really bad at the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not a good option or variety for snacks, very thin walls of the rooms. Basically you could hear your neighbors. Couldn’t even sleep because our neighbor was snoring. Elevators was taking too long.

Staff was not friendly, line for the buffet was insane, same thing to get eggs done lol. Food was ok but not what I would expect. We were supposed to get a present but because I didn’t pick it up within 24 hrs it “expired”… ridiculous. The first day they deactivated my key because they didn’t charge the other half of the stay when we checked in even though he had provided the card for it to be charged, we arrived late at night that day after a long day out carrying a sleeping baby to that surprise.

The location for this hotel is great as the Mall is across the street, it's on the local bus line too. The beach here is beautiful too. Some of the things in the property looked a little old. However, the beds were firm and comfortable. Usually hotel beds are too soft. There are four restaurants in this hotel. We didn't like the the buffet restaurant food, however, omelets made per order was good, when busy it can take about 15 min wait. The other three restaurant seemed really busy to reserve for dinner especially the Italian and Mexican. The Seafood restaurant is open for lunch and we ate multiple times lunch and dinner with reservation. The staff here were really nice and buffet also had good staff. Mexican restaurant drink was good, food portion were tiny. I didn't get the chance to eat at the Italian restaurant though. Overall, I like the hotel. Again, thank you to the staff from bell boys to the restaurant staff. The hotel had different things going on after 9 or little after, some were loud but, since it's in the lobby, wasn't too bad. One more thing, the check-in process could be improved a little as it's a bit slow.
