A refreshing break from soulless chain hotels. Between the owner, Faiza, and the manager, Brenda, the service was excellent and the full breakfast (cereals, yogurt, custom-made eggs, toast to order and more) very good. One example of the personalized attention: We were upgraded to a bigger room when a jetlagged baby in the room next to us cried through the night. Rooms are quirky and bare bones, (think a communal safe rather than individual room safes), and the immediate neighborhood is not particularly walking friendly, but it's a good choice for anyone looking for a local experience at a reasonable price.
