This place is fine if you’re staying for just one night, but I wouldn’t recommend it as your main hotel. The location is about 15 minutes from the train station, but with the amount of traffic and crosswalks, it felt much longer. Walking to the hotel at night, especially when we checked in, was a bit unsettling and not the most pleasant experience. The biggest issue we faced was the elevator situation. We waited over 20 minutes for an elevator, even though we were only on the second floor. When we asked about using the stairs instead, housekeeping informed us that there were no accessible stairs for guests—only elevators, which was incredibly frustrating. Additionally, the nearest convenience store was about a 10-minute walk away, which wasn’t ideal and felt far from “convenient.” While the hotel might work for a brief stay, it’s not the best option if you’re looking for something closer to the train station or with better accessibility and amenities.

The roof top bar offers a great view of Tokyo. A little far from the train station but overall a welcoming hotel. The rooftop bar and the staff were the best.

The room is quite small but it's at a convenient location. Not too busy and you can walk down to the busy part of Shinjuku in 10 mins. Have booked another couple of stays next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shinjuku Granbell! The room we chose was small, but we came in expecting that so we were not shocked or disappointed. This hotel is conveniently located close to convenience stores, subway stations, and plenty of restaurants and nightlife, but it is still quiet. The hotel staff was helpful when checking in and gave us a list of restaurant recommendations that we used throughout our stay.

Located in a popular bar area this hotel is a must stay if you are looking to have a great location to explore. Rooms are small and efficient, definitely this place is location, location, location. Do not expect high luxury, this is the place you sleep when not out exploring. Amazing roof balcony bar

The location of this hotel is not convenient for people on foot, its located on a hotel alleyway street. Dark at night too. The hotel room had a super creepy AI art mural plastard to one of the walls which made it very difficult to sleep.
