Calm area hotel to explore Tokyo
Nice hotel, a little bit hard to find at first but well located, walking distance to/from Shinagawa station. Room is big and comfortable. Check-in was not particularly efficient nor friendly.

In a Huge city like Tokyo this is an oasis of tranquillity and peace. The Club Lounge is a joy and the garden , oh ! the garden . The rooms are big and well appointed. There is a 7/11 store in-house where you can top up things you forgot , as well as good food , beer , wine and spirits at great prices . Free shuttle bus to Shinagawa every 20 minutes and from the station connections everywhere! I found the staff a delight and nothing's a problem . The Club staff were very friendly and the views from the lounge of the garden refreshed heart and soul after a day pounding the streets. As in all great hotels it's location , location, location.

The hotel was in a central location and made it easy to get the JR Lines or Metro. The staff at the hotel were marvellous and very helpful. I was disappointed with state of the hotel rooms, though. The rooms and bathrooms were outdated: older lighting, finishes on the wood in the rooms was wearing off, and the bathroom was a bit dark.

Stayed in a superior king room with view of Tokyo tower on the club floor. View was great, room was spacious, which was great to have after a long two weeks of traveling around the country. Would’ve given five stars, but the bathroom was quite basic and water would get all over the floor from the shower and curtain. The spa was a lot smaller than expected. Also, the spa is located across the pretty garden in the sister hotel. It’s nice, but also a bit inconvenient having to walk to a whole other hotel just to relax in a tiny jacuzzi. Very close walking distance to Shinjuku station. Overall would stay again.

First off, I paid to upgrade to a club level king suite at a rate of $300 per night. Upon arrival, the lobby & staff were very nice. But unfortunately, that’s about it as far as compliments. The room was a complete dump. I took multiple photos to confirm this. The carpet was absolutely filthy, the air conditioning grate had mold all around it, the chair by the window had a huge stain on it, the chair at the desk was filthy as well, the bathroom smelled horrible (to which I sprayed Lysol multiple times a day) and wiped down myself with Clorox wipes, the mattress was old and the bedding was outdated. We had 5 rooms in total and our friends had disputed two of their rooms and were told they had nothing else available. They were on the 5th floor and we were on the 15th. For being an upgraded club level suite, it was absolutely horrible. So much so that we checked out a day early! I would love to submit the photos & video to management because this was a subpar hotel room. Not to mention that the we could not control the air conditioning unit and it was extremely hot in Japan at the air would kick off

Disappointed.
Excitement was overcome by disappointment. Paid a fair amount and excepted the room to be in better shape/condition. The bed was way too soft and the air conditioning didn’t really work. I should have read the reviews before we booked. The only positive was we had a great view of the city, but that was chosen and paid by me. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
The condition of the bed, didn’t even try to head it with a bed skirt.
Partial board has water damage and not clean.

Great staying option close to Shinagawa Shinkansen Station. The hotel has a gorgeous garden.
