My first room smelled so badly of mold I had to request a room change. The staff was very friendly and helpful with this. The next room was not moldy but also clearly run down, dirty and the mattress was old and uncomfortable. Not at all worth the price I paid for it. Save your money and skip this one.

I was first given a room on the 8th floor, it smelled like wet dog. The whole room smelled like it was moldy and the carpets had huge stains under the AC vents, I had to go request a second room. The hotel host didn’t believe me so I made the front desk host come with me to check the room and he smelled it, he assigned me another room. The second room was ehh too, but it was better than the first.The second room had mold and mildew in the bathroom. Do this hotel clean? It’s partially clean, the cleaning service team uses lint remover to lint the carpets. The room is dusty. I’d say if you’re a light sleeper this hotel is not for you. It is right in the middle of the chaos. It’s so loud, people are always busking, loud monitors are blasting. And constant emergency sirens. For the price of convenience it’s worth it, but quality is not. But in Japan you’re not paying to stay in your hotel, you pay to sleep and go explore.

check out time for this hotel is 10:00am, and although I stayed 4 days at the APA hotel in Asakusa, and moved to APA hotel in Kabukijo, I needed to stay some where until check in time of 3:00pm finally came.(5 hour difference)
