Comfortable hotel in a great location

This is our 2nd time staying with Daiichi Hotel Tokyo and it is all we expected from our first stay. With a travelling party of 6 pax including 2 kids, the service from the staff is impeccable as always and it is a great and comfortable end to our last leg of our trip in Japan.

Great location if you're going to shimsaibashi and ginza area. Toilet had a weird smell on our first night there but was cleaned up after I left a note for housekeeping. Victorian era finishings so if you're looking for a modern hotel please look elsewhere.

I was very disappointed with the 5-star hotel Daiichi Hotel Tokyo, it looks great on the outside but unfortunately, it’s old and the rooms are very dusty. I ended up feeling sick after the 1st night. We went to ask the staff to clean up the room and they mentioned that they only vacuum the rooms every 3-4 months!! That’s absurd!! For a 5-star hotel, I would expect them to vacuum after each stay! Also, the showers and toilets are old and rusted which made it even more unappealing. At check-in, the receptionist didn’t even tell me any hotel info, she just checked me in and gave me my room key but the other hotel staff were very nice and respectful. The location is nice, it’s a 5-min walk from the train station and also, 8-10 mins walk from the Ginza area. Also, there’s a Lawson 1 min away so very convenient to purchase water and other supplies! I would definitely not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable clean place.

We loved how close this property is to the local train station. Easy to step out the door and be at convenience stores and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The hotel itself is slightly dated but the perks make up for it. I have stayed in dozens of hotels around the world and the staff service in this one was the best I have experienced, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We had a large room facing multiple train tracks yet the outside noise was totally quiet in the mornings. Would stay here again.

This was our first trip to Tokyo Japan and we loved the Daiichi Hotel and their lovely staff. From the moment we arrived the staff took exceptional care of us and our gorgeous room was beyond anything we could have imagined with a huge bathroom with all kinds of amenities. We had a king bed that was so comfortable and a fully stocked refrigerator and our room was cleaned every day with the most comfortable pajamas laid out for us. This hotel is beyond a 5 Star rating and so is the gracious and kind staff. We will definitely be back to stay again and we highly recommend them!!!! Thank you so much Daiichi Hotel and staff, we appreciate you.

The hotel is clean and tidy. It is located very close to the station (about 300m). There are lots of restaurants and at least 3 convenient stores nearby. It is also close to Hibiya Park and Imperial Palace. You can reach both within walking distance. The hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. We lost the bag on the train. They helped us to ring the train company and able to locate the bag. It cannot be done without their help. I really appreciate their help.

We stayed 4 nights. We loved the view and the space in the room. Very well equipped, even had international adaptor. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were great. Hotel is very well presented, photographs don't do it justice. Only issue was aircon was too hot and could not be adjusted down any further and was uncomfortable to sleep at times

Great comfortable hotel at an an affordable price
Rooms are great, comfortable bed, shower and bath separate, lots of very nice toiletries, great size with a desk for comfortable working. There is a kettle in the room with coffee, teas, and a mini fridge which is very handy for food and cold drinks. The hotel is very well located with lots of restaurants, convenient stores and the running piste around the Imperial Gardens for those who like exercising. As Shimbashi station is a few min away, it is very easy to get anywhere by metro, including only 30 min to Haneda airport. I would not recommend breakfast at the French restaurant in the hotel, it is poor quality and overpriced.
