The property was ideally located in the Tokyo Disney Resort area. Excellent transportation within 5 minutes walking distance (4 stops monorail around Disney Resort/ and transport hub at the Resort Gateway to travel with the railway lines elsewhere around Tokyo and beyond). Warm, polite and welcoming staff. Excellent service all around from Doorperson to Baggage counter to Check in reception to Room cleaning personnel to Restaurant and shops personnel. Excellent buffet breakfast. Excellent rooms and facilities. Beautiful atrium. Excellent views.
If you are going to the Disney resort, this hotel is very convenient because it has free transportation to the Disney train and the Maihama station. If your plan is to visit Tokyo or just walk and start exploring, this hotel is a bit further from any other destination. My kids were disappointed the outside pool was closed and that you have to pay an extra fee to use the inside pool and is only open from 10am - 5pm. Thee hotel is beautiful and you get immersed in the Disney magic.
The Grand Nikko Hotel is so close to the tram that takes you to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland Sea.
Their buffet breakfast was amazing and the hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.
Conveniently located near Disney resort to handy if you visiting Disney. Good size rooms but very expensive. Large hotel so you are just another guest. Struggled with food options in the hotel. Limited options and restaurants close early with no room service options. Bus service from Mahima and Bayside very convenient. Better alternative to very expensive Disneyline monorail.
This property needs a major renovation which entails ac clean setup.
The concept of non smoking means our room doesn’t smell like it . I am urging manager to take care of the unsafe and un healthy condition the 12th floor north tower is in.
Hotel felt very grand yet modern. Sushi restaurant at the lobby floor serves tasty Japanese cuisine. They have regular shuttle buses to the Tokyo Disney Line and also Maihama station. If you stay on the 11/12tj floors, the Nikko lounge is highly recommended with tasty snacks and great beverages. Hotel room was clean and spacious.
It is a nice place to stay. We have a great buffet for 3 days. A lot of options to choose. Free shuttle bus transfer to disneyland and bayside monorail for disneysea. Bedroom is very nice and we can get a bath salt. It helps after for whole day walking at disneysea and disneyland
This hotel is fine. Convenient to Disney. Nothing wrong with it. Just basic rooms and a little tired in real life compared to photos. Would choose the Hilton over this hotel for English speaking guests.
Was surprised how awesome this place was when we walked in. Definitely on my list to stay again, affordable with comfortable room size. Would recommend if you are going to Disneyland without breaking the budget
Great location for Tokyo Disney, and our room was incredible with a view of Mount Fuji! Journey from central tokyo is easy (A few changes on the train and then the Disney monorail from Maihama) but quite slow and long during rush hour!
We booked for our Tokyo Disney trip. On our last night we wanted to forward some baggage to our Shinjuku, we were informed that they can only assist with luggage delivery between 7 am and 1 pm. This was kind of insane as 7 am is already quite late to be out of the hotel if you are going to Disney as queus start much earlier and the hotel isnt that near to either park entries and there is no way you will be back from the parks before 1 pm. Been to much simpler hotels where reception staff could assist with luggage delivery at any time. It was 6 pm and they said no staff could assist even though they were clearly just standing around as the hotel was empty. Disappointing.
