Room was fine but the service at breakfast wast terrible. Only one other person in the breakfast hall yet it took far to long to be served and receive my breakfast. From sitting down to getting my food was way over half an hour and the food was ok at best. It really let the whole stay down.
Hard to find through some winding lanes - missed the entrance and did a loop to get back, but a real gem once you arrive. Could do with a new, brighter, more visible sign maybe?
Reception staff messed up ours and family members’ room numbers and payments, it was chaos!
We stayed in the coach house but we didn’t even sleep because the room below were having a party until the early hours, with lots of people coming and going, as the front door doesn’t lock! It felt a bit unsafe.
Lastly, the hotel was awful at catering for allergies..I was expected to eat a plain bread roll, coleslaw and salad for dinner due to being coeliac and the meat not being gluten free and providing no alternatives! Would not stay again 👎
Excellent one night stay friendly and professional staff. Spacious and comfortable bedroom and lovely breakfast. Situated in a stunning setting. We cannot fault it at all.
This property was extraordinary!! On the side of a hilltop and very remote and quiet. We stayed in the guest house and had absolute quiet despite a raucous wedding on site. The on site food was delicious. Gorgeous property. A total find!
We were attending a wedding and we stayed for one night. The wedding was amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious.
