We had come to this place many times before. We always enjoyed it. It is showing age and maintenance is unfortunately not kept up. The water pressure in the shower goes in and out. The beds feel old, make noise and are well worn. The breakfast had fewer options and the fruit were not fresh. We may not come back as options in Chiang Mai are plentiful.

Adorable rooms and decor throughout property. Felt very authentic. We checked in at 1 AM, and staff was there to assist us and were friendly throughout our stay ! Delicious breakfast included. 3 minute walk to Wat Chedi Luang. Would stay again. Cons: none

Really conveniently located in the heart of old time. It's walkable from the major temples. Tons of restaurants and whatever else you might be looking to do in the city. It's also a stone's throw from the Sunday night market. If you happen to be staying over the weekend. Really is great launching point with a ton of charm and wooden furniture.

Centrally located for an easy walk to anywhere in the old city. It would be nice to have some more traditional food options at breakfast, also an iron and ironing board in the room and some more English-speaking channels on the TV besides news.

Everything was perfect for 6 night stay. The only comment I have is that breakfast starts at 7 , this is the time when long day tours start as well. Hotel offers breakfast bag for the road , nevertheless 0630 start would be preferred. Also, selection of breakfast variety is limited, especially fruit fare.

A beautiful property with teak style finishes and a beautiful courtyard pool. Once you are off the street and onto the compound, you easily forget you are in the city. Easy walking to dining and shopping attractions. Would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to friends.

Viangluang Resort was very good. The rooms and location were great, particularly being right in the middle of the Old Town. Staff and service were excellent. The only disappointment was the Breakfast which was OK.

This was a beautiful property. The runs were huge and lovely. Location wirked well for us as thete were several restaurants within walking distance. We were just a couple of blocks from the Sunday night market which was very convenient. If we hadn't been there on a Sunday, there wasn't much shopping close by. The only negative to report is that my friend was charged for a spoon missing from her room. She never had a spoon, only two forks. She had previously commented to me that she wished she had a spoon to stir her coffee. They need to take better inventory of what is in the rooms if they are going to charge for missing items! Thus the 4* review rather than 5*.
