Viangluang Resort was very good. The rooms and location were great, particularly being right in the middle of the Old Town. Staff and service were excellent. The only disappointment was the Breakfast which was OK.

This was a beautiful property. The runs were huge and lovely. Location wirked well for us as thete were several restaurants within walking distance. We were just a couple of blocks from the Sunday night market which was very convenient. If we hadn't been there on a Sunday, there wasn't much shopping close by. The only negative to report is that my friend was charged for a spoon missing from her room. She never had a spoon, only two forks. She had previously commented to me that she wished she had a spoon to stir her coffee. They need to take better inventory of what is in the rooms if they are going to charge for missing items! Thus the 4* review rather than 5*.

We loved the ambience and decoration. It made us feel emerged in the city culture/style. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very nice and friendly. It’s centrally located so you can walk to many restaurants, tours, attractions, etc. We loved our stay here.

This was a perfect location. Off the main street down a small lane so it was very quiet. Walk 2 minutes and you have a temple, restaurants and much more. This is also where the Sunday night walking street market is. Awesome

Very spacious room with all amenities you would need. Great location in the old city, a very short walk from Wat Chedi Luang. Reception very helpful in helping with booking tours & taxis. Swimming pool was refreshing after a long day out. Breakfast selection was good. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Wifi isn't great and the heavy doors make a bit of noise when people close them. But everything else was absolutely perfect. The rooms are adorable and spacious, the breakfast is good, staff is so kind and welcoming as well as accommodating, the property is beautiful and the pool was amazing!! I'm a solo female traveler and I felt so safe and everything was so convenient around the area.

The hotel is in the old city and an older style. I liked that it had a relaxing and comfortable feel. After staying in several hotels in Chiang Mai the room had to be up there for comfort. The best things were the bathroom shower worked well with two heads. It also had a bath. The room had lots of bench seating which is a plus when you get back at the end of the day. Plenty of room to place bags. Suitcase racks for two and a hanging ladder in the room which was great for airing. It had the usual wardrobe and things and mats inside the doors which was a plus for the time of year we went. It's location is only about 300 metre to the famous Chedi Luang and there is a selection of restaurants in the same area. Close to Sunday walking markets as well. Breakfast was modest but I don't have high requirements so it was adequate. For the price it's a definite consideration and I would go back again.
