Service was phenomenal. Excellent, attentive staff. That said, older hotel with noise issues. Michigan Ave is loud until the wee hours of the morning and the rooms are not close to sound proof.

Beautiful historic hotel in the best part of Chicago. Friendly staff and great service. Nice, clean, spacious, comfortable room. Would definitely stay again.

A bit tired and in definite need of updating. First room (807) was bad…could hear neighbors talking and all their plumbing. Moved to 1006 which was very quiet and comfortable. Good burger in the bar.

Old world European feel was great; felt like we could have been in London, Rome, Florence, Paris, etc. Property is beautifully maintained. Our deluxe room was huge and had a great view of the lake. Walls are old-timey thick - silence at night! Staff is uniformly beyond fabulous. Cannot recommend highly enough.
