This brand new property is offered to discerning travelers for the very first time. This house shares, with its twin next door, a warm and welcoming facade. Once inside, you will find a stylish two-bedroom accommodation in which to consolidate and rest after your journey.

Everything you need for a comfortable and independent stay is provided: Full kitchen, washing and drying facilities, comfortable beds, Sky TV, full WiFi Broadband, land line for local calls etc. There is a heat pump in the living area and panel heaters in the generous bedrooms.

In true Garden City style, the landscaping creates an individual point of difference that you are unlikely to experience anywhere else. If you’re wondering about her name, she is Aphrodite, a fountain of joy, beauty and love.

For larger groups, this property is affiliated with the adjoining house (Maison du Ciel, Bookabach #35473) and, via a garden gate, a third property (Maison Rouge, Bookabach #33579). So it is possible for larger groups to stay in close proximity, yet maintain privacy when required.

Note that Master Bed 1 can be either joined to make a King double or split into two King single beds - let me know your preference.

The neighbourhood is quiet, but not far from the restaurants and cafes at the northern end of Stanmore Road. Other local facilities include a nearby supermarket, bus routes and Richmond Playground. A little further afield lies the Wilding Park Tennis centre and The Palms Shopping Mall.

There is off-street parking for one car in front of the single garage (remote entry available). Inside is naturally warm and spacious. Double glazing adds to this warmth and adds to the peaceful ambience of the locale.

My wife & I with our 15 year old granddaughter, had a wonderful stay at Danielle's lovely home. It was clean, quiet, functional and great in every way possible. It was our fist lodging on our 3 week visit to New Zealand and was perfect for adjusting to time change and the friendliness of the New Zealanders!! Danielle is a gracious host. I stayed with my daughter and her family on a 2 week holiday, for the last few days my mother and I stayed at the adjacent property. The entire process from booking, to checking in, paying and leaving was simple. Everything we needed was there, it was warm and comfortable and also close to shops and walking distance to the CBD. One thing to watch out for - cars parked on the street can be a bit tricky to navigate dependant on the size of your car when reversing out of the driveway. Definitely on my list for our next holiday.

We really enjoyed our weekend at this property. It's a lovely home that has been thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. The bedrooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. It's a short walk to a New World supermarket so self-catering is easy especially with the well-equipped kitchen. Would definitely book again.

We three adults stayed for five nights, and were very comfortable. Our car could be parked off the road, although there is a garage that guests can use. There is a short path and a few steps to the front door. The living area was spacious, with French doors to a sunny, north-facing deck. In the kitchen, many appreciated extras were supplied that make the stay so easy for travellers. The bathroom also had extras. The two bedrooms were spacious, and each had French doors to a deck. Christchurch CBD was a ten minute drive. The house was spotlessly clean, and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. We would recommend Maison du Soleil to other travellers.

Lovely home with lots of room!! Best mattress for sleeping our whole trip! 😁 We were able to do laundry (there is a washer and dryer) The kitchen is small but very efficiently laid out and stocked.
