Fantastic stay, wonderful host
My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. The owner, Peter was so helpful and friendly. The place had a beautiful yard and we had a lemon tree right outside our unit, which was very clean and cosy. The beds were comfortable with electric heated blankets to keep us warm during the winter, and the kitchen and laundry facilities were adequate for us to do some light cooking and washing. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Christchurch and will recommend it to others!

Well equipped motel
We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment and found it to be really well equipped & clean. Only negatives would be the comfort of the beds and the road noise in the upstairs rooms but overall a good place to stay if you need space and amenities.

The couple who run the place are the nicest ever. We ordered a pizza delivered. The pizza place called the motel manager to say they wouldn’t be delivering it after all. The manager came to our room explained the this and then took me to pizza place to pick up my pizza. While we were out, he picked up some other guests from the grocery store and brought them back to the motel. Great guy!!!

The owners are really pleasant. The room is clean and spacious. The bed is a little firm but we slept really well. The only nit picky things are the shower and toiletries. The shower head is an aerating type so it takes longer to rinse your hair. There also isn't any hair conditioner.
