Friendly, helpful staff and a beautiful room. Lovely old building and the landlord was very friendly too. Only issue was that it was impossible to get a cab to our venue nearby.

Lovely pub. We stayed just the one night. Positives were the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, beautiful location very nice full English breakfast. On the minus side was the room and bed. The pub is old and full of character but the room was very dowdy and the bed extremely uncomfortable so much so we found it difficult to sleep at all.

Thoroughly recommend this place.
Lovely place to stay with excellent hosts. We needed an earlier check-in as we had a wedding to go to and th owner couldn’t have been more helpful in getting our lovely room ready early. The bed was really comfy and the room was enormous! Lovely ensuite too with good water pressure for the shower. The breakfast in the morning was really good with great coffee. Would happily recommend this as a place to stay.
