I stayed several places during my almost three weeks in Hoi An and Azalea Homestay was the one that was in the nicest condition. No signs of age to the rooms or guest areas. The rooms are quite spacious, completely clean, well-kept, comfortable and with welcomed amenities. The bathroom is also spacious and set up nicely. A nice ventilation system is in place. Didn't use A/C because it was cold enough already with the weather. There was a small fridge in the room along with hairdryer and hand soap in the bathroom - all things we appreciated.
Breakfast (if included) is served on the upper veranda overlooking the river. Breakfast was appreciated. Coffee with milk didn't seem to have milk. Ordered omelets both days, first day it was good, second day it was great.
Water filter on property was appreciated.
Bike rental is inexpensive and condition of the bikes were quite good.
Location is great as it is only a 5-10 minute bike ride into the old city. It's also located right along the river. Nearby there are restaurants.
Luan, the madame of the guesthouse was helpful, friendly and professional. We felt quite welcome.
There were a few miscommunications regarding prices charged and extending our stay Luan was very accomodating and strived to make us very pleased guests, as she did.
Overall, very nice value for what we paid.
