I can't recommend staying here. To be fair, I can't/won't cut down the hotel too much. The price is ridiculously low so it would be ridiculous to expect a 5 star stay. But for the price, I would recommend paying more and staying somewhere nicer.
The outside of the hotel has been redone so it looks nice. But it doesn't resemble this at all, once you are inside. The hotel isn't clean, and is pretty dated. Breakfast is included but I would probably just skip it if I stayed here. The dining area doesn't scream clean and simply isn't comforting. Standards/expectations are just lower here. $30CAD a night for two people though. That is CHEAP.
Most cities in Vietnam have cheap accommodations and are all in that similar range of just clean enough, just quiet enough, standards are just high enough. I felt that this hotel fell a little short though. The bathroom had a funky smell to it and the bedding smelled moldy. Honestly, if the place was a little cleaner, I would recommend it because of the price. It falls below my standards though and hence I don't recommend staying here.
I'm sure in time, all their standards will slowly come up but I'm guessing the price would move along with that.
