Not horrible, but the worst I stayed at on my tour
My tour had us staying here before and after the tour. Of the four hotels we stayed in, this was the worst. Needs a facelift, not in a good area, staff constantly hovers around you expecting tips, some rooms don’t have any windows. A lady on my tour went out on the front porch to make a call and was told she should come back in the hotel as it wasn’t safe out there. Not safe for single females. On a positive note, the wifi worked in my room and the manager was nice (once she found out I was shown where the scale was and that’s why I was up there using it).
it was not good at all as we stepped into the hotel the make shift type of ladder was so poor in condition that no one feels like to move inside and the room was booked on B/B basis but they refused to offer breakfast and only after showing the booking voucher they accepted and offered the breakfast. Originally breakfast was on a continental plan but it seemed they didn't understand it and they offered poor indian breakfast like puri poha tea and egg.there was no juice, cut fruits ,cornflakes ,pastries etc even there was no water bottle.there are so many things for critical comments but it no use as they have mind set to squeez the guest to the extent possible.Even they offered a low rate for U S Dollar tham the official rate that is why i chose to pay in INR as I had both the currencies.

Our bathroom in our room was very dirty. There was mould in the shower and mud smears on the screen between the bathroom and the bedroom.
The main issue was that I paid for breakfast to the man in the breakfast room and they tried to charge me again as I checked out. The man I paid remained silent and would not admit that I paid them. After much discussion I demanded that they not charge me twice. I found the daytime cleaning staff to be very nice. The front desk, breakfast and porter were not good.

I was meeting a tour group here and booked two days early on my own. I asked to stay in the same room the whole time and the hotel was accommodating. However, on the second day while I was out, my room was locked by management due to non payment of my food/drink bill. I was ok with this since the room was transferred to the tour group and paid in a different way. However, after I paid my bill, I was still locked out of my room for the rest of the day and night. The staff on premises did not have the ability to unlock the code on my room. Every time I wanted to get back in, I had to have someone come up with me with the master key to unlock it. Because of the limited English of the some of the staff, it was difficult to understand what was going on. I do want to say that the staff, especially in the dining room, were very kind. I feel that it at the upper management level that people were rude and did not treat the receptionist at the desk very kindly.
