Great place to stay
Everyone at The Met made our stay very comfortable. We stayed 3 times here during this India trip. The staff at the reception, baggage desk, housekeeping & restaurant were all so courteous & friendly. Their breakfast buffet is the BEST. Going to stay here for all our future trips to Delhi.

Comfortable stay
Excellent service and great food but cleanliness is to be improved. Please reduce plastics also. Most good hotels now have pump soap, lotion and shampoo instead of small plastic bottles and glass containers of water. Also there should be no alcohol in the fridge when there are minors in the rooms.

So when I booked this hotel on hotels.com, the price was less and what they charge me at the hotel was way more expensive. They also charged me at the check-in the full amount instead of check out. Also they were charging for everything including potato chips etc inside the room, nothing is complimentary, which you would expect in India. Overall okay experience.

We arrived at 5am as our flight was cancelled, the manager allowed us to keep the room until 4pm free of charge and also included a complimentary breakfast. Both really appreciated after our delayed journey. In all excellent customer service.

I have stayed here multiple times in the last three years but this was easily the worst experience I had. The experience has fallen off incredibly. No VIP upgrades, poor room conditions, smelly bathroom, Ok breakfast makes this hotel highly overpriced. I am never staying here again.

Would definitely recommend if it's your first time
The hotel is in a great location and the staff is really friendly (from security to housekeeping to restaurant staff). It isn't a modern hotel, so if you're looking for brand new, this isn't the place for you. We tried all three restaurants and all were great, and the spa was amazing. Between my long hair and my tall husband, we didn't have enough shampoo or body wash to share, and housekeeping noticed and left us extras. They also left us extra water when they noticed we bought more than what they gave us. Breakfast was included in our nightly rate, and the buffet was a good mix of Western and Indian. We were afraid of getting sick, but after a couple of days we noticed how clean the hotel was, so we are everything we wanted.

Great overnight stay to start the golden triangle
Great stay with the hotel. We booked 2 rooms for a multigenerational family of 5 and the tariff included breakfast buffet. I loved the fact that they gave us interconnected rooms and set up an extra bed in one of the rooms. The buffet was great as well. While the rooms were on the smaller side, that is likely standard for central Delhi. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Good as always, except for . . .
I stay in this hotel often.Breakfast spread is good, high speed elevators, good swimming pool, if summer, and plenty of parking. Is centrally located, very close to airport metro station, and close to a large market place for any daily needs like a chemist, which also provides food options other than the hotel. I have one suggestion for them, a "hard mattress" option should be available. Their mattresses are too soft. The stay this time was very good like it always was, except for one incident. On one day there was a marriage or some such ceremony in the swimming pool area and they played too loud music that reached my room even on the 5th floor. And this continued till 23:00. One doesn't expect this from a 5 star hotel.
