Very good

Beautiful scenic area. Well maintained bush property. Beautifully appointed quality cabins to stay in. Meals at the Wilderness Centre lovely. Lots of short and longer walks beginning and terminating here. Very popular with hikers of all ages.
So isolated, situated in the national park with the closest grocery store one and a half hours away. Beautiful setting. Room could use some plates and cutlery but the lodge let us borrow some. Basic and clean, Molten Brown products were a nice touch. Pricey for a campground ($400 per night) but I think that may have been because of the time of year between Christmas and New Year and for the convenience of being right on Lake Sinclair.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
It was set in the most beautiful of settings. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Unfortunately our toilet didn’t refill automatically and had to be filled using the kettle otherwise the water pump went on and off constantly. Also our complimentary breakfast was awful. It was luke warm at best and our toast was thin, white cold bread with no butter. Even after we asked for it. Disappointing given the cost of the accommodation. There is also no gf options for dinner so my daughter had fry chicken with no sauce. Normally not one to complain, but given the expense of this accomodation I would have thought the breakfast could have been better and having 1 gf option on the menu.
Great place, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere, clean and warm. One suggestion, would be nice to have a phone in room to contact main reception if needed. We had no mobile reception to contact main reception
Staff were super friendly and meals were excellent but very limited selection. The cheap (non Tasmanian and completely out of character) furniture was a let down.
Fitout was very Bunning / K mart Quality, all white interior with no pictures needs an interior designers touch, Kitchen had no Nespresso or Microwave far to basic, deal breaker was Lodge 15 is by the lake with a mean window in the kitchen so high we couldn't see out and no picture window facing the Lake - so I felt very ripped off!! Space was good and the bed was great, also very warm
While some may consider it a bit pricey the lodge is an excellent location to stay at, in very close proximity to wilderness especially in winter. It has very warm sleeping quarters and living amenities and excellent food to enjoy.

Great stay with excellent dining options. Lake is beautiful in morning just down from chalet. Mo and other staff were very helpful.
The food in restaurant was alittle pricey but I thought worth it. The veggies were crisp and not being a big bread eater, the entree bread was crisp and light, as was the toast in the morning. All food is organic and it absolutely made a taste difference for me.
Loved the cabin - clean, cosy, well appointed & peaceful on the edge of beautiful Lake St Clair.
I don't wish to criticize the reception & restaurant as I realise it must be very hard to get staff in such remote places at the moment, however the reception person-in- training was so out of place with such limited English & knowledge of the local area. Good on you & him for trying tho & for deferring to management when we had an issue
