My bed was too hard compared to the room I had last time, last year. I mentioned it and a small topper was put on it, but it didnt really do much. Guests dont like complaining as it can negatively influence your stay, so please bear this in mind before asking us if we said anything or didnt say something sooner. It was my second day out of four, over the christmas break, I gave it the benefit of the doubt, but it was still uncomfortable, this affected my stay and will
definately influence my decision to stay again, greatly! Dont forget that a good bed affects your sleep and whether you wake up sore and stiff as I did, who needs that on a holiday! You are the QUEST after all, I would expect less at at a cheaper hotel, not your hotel.
They need to fix room key problems, twice mine locked me out my room and gave me great anxiety that it might happen at night, as I was staying over christmas break.
My room was cleaned twice which was unexpected and a nice touch. The staff the cleaners especially, are so friendly and the reception staff. I much appreciated the guy who welcomed me christmas day. Also the late checkout was greatly appreciated as I had a later afternoon flight, thankyou to the lady who organised that as well as organising my taxi, it all went smoothly.
