Very good

Staff looked sick of their life. Room was cold and radiator control broken so couldn’t turn it up . Waited on hold for 10 minutes to contact receptionist. Room was dated and tired. Hairdryer was faulted smelled of burning and screeching. Reported on check out. Spa was nice. Fat Abbot restaurant on site only served Sunday roast menu on Sunday so had to eat at Thai restaurant next door which was lovely.
The pub for dinner was lovely and the food portions were good.
Hotel room was comfortable, pillows were a little tired.
Very good power shower and a decent hairdryer.
Good selection at breakfast and very tasty

The room was located directly over the Friar Tuck pub. After consulting with reception regarding noise in the evening, I Was told music ends at 9pm. So no need to swap rooms. This wasn’t the case whatsoever as it finished as expected around 11.15pm. Reception wasn’t interested when informed!
It was chilling night away. Spa good however sound rooms not as hot.

Reception staff need customer service training!
The customer service at check in/check out was so poor I can only liken it to going through border control except even then I would receive eye contact from the guards! One of our party travelled separately and had exactly the same experience so sadly not a one off. This gave us a terrible first and last impression which is sad as not reflective of the rest of the staff we encountered during our stay who were all friendly, polite and efficient.
Our room was spacious with comfy bed, the decor was a little tired and as per other reviews the bathroom had smashed floor tiles and clumsy repairs but the shower was hot and powerful.
Breakfast was great and we liked the buffet style.
The spa and pool was an added bonus and the main reason I booked this hotel along with the convenient location.
We stayed off away from the main build; our room was nice, nothing fancy, but comfortable; fan was provided. The main building is definitely the star of the show. I was surprised to find no lift; due to one of the reasons for choosing this hotel was because it mentioned there was a lift, not a deal breaker though. The restaurant on site was wonderful and accommodating. We enjoyed trying out the different steam rooms, swimming and relaxing in the hot tub. Note: The entrance was a little tough to spot; driving in the dark
Was a lovely stay, we really enjoyed the size of the room, the breakfast and the facilities. Only downside for us, is we had to walk through 2 seperate weddings to get to our room which made us feel awkward and rude. Would suggest a seperate entrance for hotel guests.
Also TV would be better if we were able to use the smart TV functions.

A nice country hotel with great staff and a fabulous Spa / Pool. The Restaurant was nice with healthy portions and a good selection of wines and ales. Room service reflected the good choice and quality of food.
The pool and spa area were excellent (adults-only which was handy during the half-term holidays)
Sadly our room was in need of some TLC, several cracked floor tiles in the bathroom, exceedingly dim lighting, an unnecessarily cramped layout to the bathroom, paper thin walls (the neighbours literally kept us awake all night with their energetic conversation. this was our fourth stay at The Parsonage and most likely our last.

Lovley looking hotel. Good food at the local pub. Unfortunately the pub was so full i had to eat very early. Could order room service but £4.50 is a excessive
