Bring your appetite for adventure along with that much-used suitcase. It's time to see what Five Points has to offer! A Columbia neighbourhood, it's a fantastic place to experience a different side of the capital of South Carolina. Up for meeting a few locals? No problem. Around 130,000 people live in Columbia. To get yourself to Five Points from Columbia Metropolitan Airport, hop into a taxi and travel northeast for 12 kilometres. From the centre of Columbia, it's 2 kilometres to the east.

This city is brimming with things to see and do, and you'll discover many of them near Five Points. It's no easy task to pick the leading attractions, but the University of South Carolina and South Carolina State House are two you shouldn't miss. Don't forget to put the Fort Jackson and the Allen University on your checklist too. For a better perspective of this vibrant city as a whole, spend time in the nearby neighbourhoods of University Hill and Old Shandon.
