What a wonderful property
Saw some previous negative reviews a out this property after my booking. After checked in, all those negative reviews I read were already out of the window . From the room to the front desk and staff, everything and everyone was so surprisingly friendly and comfortable. The location is great too. Walking distance to everything in Georgs town. I am so glad I stayed with this property.

Relaxed and pleasant stay at Jawi P Mansion
We loved our room next to the pool. The property is well maintained and really connects to the heritage experience. Nice lap pool which we used to cool off several times. Staff are extremely pleasant and provided everything we needed. Walkable to some sights and easy pick up by Grab when we needed it. Spoke to a member of staff about breakfast and they said they hoped to bring back this option in the future. A very relaxed stay and would definitely recommend Jawi Peranakan Mansion.

There was no laundry service in the premises but it is shown there is. I was hoping staff would be more attentive but they didn’t help us with the luggages to our room on the 2nd floor.

The room was in a heritage house and was beautifully decorated. It was lovely and cool and I didnt have to use the aircon Jalan Penang is nearby with plenty of shopping and restaurants The free CAT bus is close as well I would recommend this hotel as a well situated and beautiful place to stay

Good and quiet location
Fantastic stay. Great service staff. Clean and big room. One or two of the electronic plugs in the room beside the bed didnt work though.

Stayed in the Mansion Villa. The property and room decor is quite unique. But the room itself is basically right up against the street. This means you can hear every motorbike, car and other vehicle passing by. If you are a light sleeper this room is not for you. I left after one night and checked into another hotel because I could not sleep. I'm not sure that other rooms on the property would have been much quieter. Also, there was no "do not disturb" sign, and housekeeping staff attempted to enter the room while I was inside. The room could use a bit more cleaning, especially the rugs. Location is good.

A beautiful, historic facility and fantastic staff that take care of all your needs. The rooms can use updating and the A/C in our 1st room was too weak (the staff moved us into another room that had better a/c) but restaurants are a short walk away and again, the staff are great.

A modernized historuc mansion in George Town. Rooms are spacious and well appointed with period furniture. Bathroom spacious with rain shower faucet and room for 2 😊 Small outdoor lap pool that was welcoming after hot day of sightseeing. Staff were pleasant but clearly not equioted to run a hotel and service guests. Overall good value for the money

It's the first hotel that I've checked out earlier than expected because I couldn't sleep at all during my first night. The room is really spacious and rather clean. But they don't have proper pillow; the pillow was extremely thin. The aircon wasn't cooling the room enough as well, so I was perspiring. In addition, the property is beside a main road and so it's always very noisy. I think the place should have sound proof window and good pillows. I do understand that it's an old mansion but if it is being converted to a hotel, much more should be done.

The mansion has been beautifully restored to its former glory and it was a total delight to stay in it. The staff are just wonderful, in particular Priya and Steph, who gave us useful directions on eating places and shopping, and were just so obliging. Great to watch the video on the restoration works.

A beautiful property close to the shuttle bus and launderette. The room was clean and has air conditioning. We were on the first floor and it was great coming back to the hotel as it is so beautiful. The staff were welcoming and professional. Would stay here again.

Historic mansion
A very relaxing stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location but due to humidity I used ‘grab’ to get around. Beautiful old historic mansion. Highly recommend.
