Dirty, Dingy & Rundown
The shower was filthy, the outside of the windows covered in cobwebs, one bedroom door looked like a dog had been stuck inside and tried to claw its way out. The place had a distinct and unpleasant odor that they tried to mask with Glad plug-in room deodorizers. The location is great, but the conditions were just sketchy.

Right next to the beach. Loved having the patio with chairs to sit and enjoy looking at the ocean. Conveniently located to towns nearby. The only downfall is the steep stairs in the house

Nice location
The property on the outside needs some serious help. The inside was old but nice. Kind of had a musty and pet smell. My biggest complaint was the accuracy of the pictures. The stairs are steep and narrow. There is a small step into the kitchen and downstairs bedroom. The beach access is steep and there is a rope to hold onto so you don't fall. If I would have seen these things in the pictures I would not of rented this house. Not good for old knees and a 8 month pregnant lady.

Great Place, but needs work
This property was in a really nice location, with ocean views, and a very, very short walk to the beach. Overall, the house was really nice, and kitchy-cool. The only downside was that there were a lot of little things that needed repairs, and the simplicity with which the repairs could have been done left you frustrated with the fact that they hadn't been done at all. For example, the upstairs bathroom door didn't close all the way, the towel rack wasn't properly installed/attached to the wall, and the shower drained very slowly, so you were standing in a pool of water the whole time. Hardware throughout the house was lose. There's a dangerous lip between two parts of the house on the lower floor. The way the doors/insert are installed in the fire place is almost certainly an extremely dangerous fire hazard. The frustrating part is that a half-decent handyman could take care of all these things for about $500 and half a day! With just a few repairs, this place would be a real gem!

Not what is advertised
I apologize for this. I normally don't do this but we paid a lot of money for a house that we could only partially use. When we first arrived there were 2 different key boxes and a door panel. we spent 10 minutes just trying to figure out what code went where. instructions were not very accurate. when we finally got inside the first thing that hit us was the smell. It smelled so strongly musty and dirty that we had to open all of the doors and windows in the house for the rest of the evening. The smell in the second room where the washer and dryer was smelled so awful that we could not use it all. We tried to put extra bags and things that needed to be stored in that room but on the second day we had to remove it all because anything with fabric was picking up the smell of the room. two of the kids had to sleep on the floor because that fold out bed in that room could not be used. It was a very disappointing trip. Expensive waste of money. I reached out to VACASA more than once on this situation and did not receive a response. I will not be using this service again. I could have gotten Hotel Rooms on the beach for less money and better service.

Beautiful area
The house is located in a very beautiful area, short walk to a sort of private, beautiful beach. The house is old but equipped with all needed to have a good stay. Not good for people with mobility issues as the stairs for the bedrooms upstairs are quite a challenge even for the ones with no mobility issues. The view from the bedroom and terrace upstairs is beautiful. We had a good time, very nice neighborhood and again, a beautiful beach very near by.

The house is outdated, it was dirty from the moment we walked in, there was dirty towels on the floor in one of the rooms, there was sand on the floor. There is an musty smell all around the house. Not worth what I paid for. There was dog hairs all over. It was the worse experience. Not happy at all.

Home very outdated , needs allot of work the upstairs deck not safe to walk on . The decor is definitely outdated musty spell throughout the home my husband had to fix blinds to close in the master bedroom I’m a interior decorator and my hubby is into construction so we are a bit more picky than others might be however I would recommend someone do some work to make home more cozy and comfy so guests could enjoy it more .

4 Sisters Beach house
This beach house was just the right size for our group. It was amply supplied with everything necessary to cook our traditional Thanksgiving meal and all the other meals. There were plenty of towels for bathing/showering. All in all the house was really great. We ran into trouble upon arrival as the thermostat we were directed to turn on did not turn on any heat. I called to report this problem and a maintenance person came right away but could not get the pilot light lit and instructed us to use the baseboard heaters. He said there would be a repair person sent out Friday. We also turned on the heat in the studio only to have it go off and not work when it was time to go to bed or the rest of the weekend. The upstairs toilet plugged but resolved itself then the studio toilet also plugged but resolved itself. This house and furnishings are somewhat dated but everything was clean and it had everything we needed. All in all this house was very comfortable and I would consider staying here with a large group again.

Cat Urine and the Futon
Labor day weekend. Arrive find out the separate room where 2+ were going to sleep smelled like a cattery left in the sun. The smell was overwhelming and hung heavy in the air and carpet. It left us scrambling for another place for 2+ of our family to stay at. Vacasa did reimburse us for the hotel stay . However we felt they should have reimbursed us more for the incovienence on a Holiday weekend.. The futon in the main house needs to be replaced.. The pad doesn't protect your back from the bars. Steve the maintenance man did come by 12 hours after 2 text and 1 message. He was very helpful.

This place was ok.
Some of the nice things about this place are the large bedrooms; 3 in the house (master first floor, 2 large upstairs). Both upstairs rooms have balconies. Front room balcony has limited ocean view but you can hear the waves at night with the door open. The front room is has a queen bed and lots of extra space; we put an inflatable mattress there for a 3rd person. Bathrooms good; downstairs has shower, upstairs has tub. Living room has large screen tv and gas fireplace (we didn't use), dining room small but can handle 10 at the table. Beach is a short walk down the street. There is a bedroom attachment on the back with its own door. It has a bathroom and tv, plus washer and dryer. The main house has an electronic (keyless) lock, the back has a combination box for the key. Lots of greenery around the place. The master bedroom has a sliding door and a bench out in the garden. The kitchen is small and has a few pots, pans, cups and dishes. We brought paper plates and plastic ware. Stove is nice - glass top- and oven works well. Nice dishwasher. Fridge is family size. There's a small firepit in the back, but bring wood. You can fit 3 vehicles in the driveway with 1 in front. Trash day is Friday and they pickup kinda early (about 7 for recycling, 9 for trash) and you have to put it out (just like home). Pet friendly and our 2 dogs loved it. Not so good: wireless kept going down. We kept getting authentication errors. We'd reset, then a while later it'd quit. Could be provider as neighbors also had problems. Small kitchen, 3s a crowd. Back balcony wraps 3/4 around the house, and would be a great place to entertain, but the floor is soft in places and feels like your foot is going to go through it. Bed in attachment is a futon, not really comfortable, so bring a foam mattress topper and it's ok. Living room furniture ok. There are 6 waiting room type chairs in the dining room, plus a few folding chairs. Circuit breaker box is in the master bedroom. Driveway is narrow, don't step on the neighbor's plants when exiting vehicle. Neighbor on driveway side is not a renter; nice folks with a BIG dog, when they are there. Overall, our 6 day stay was good. 9 of us easily fit it the place and around the table. Lots to do in the area, a couple restaurants are in the complex the house is in, with Depoe Bay and Lincoln City close by. Chesters' grocery is 5 miles south on highway 101, and Walmart is 20 miles south in Newport. Enjoy!

Believe the reviews!
I thought that after so many poor reviews the place would have been fixed up. Only count on 3 queen beds because the futons are horrible. We did not have internet for 3 days. The modem is in the upstairs bedroom on the right. The place smelled so bad. The furniture was useless. The exterior looked like it have never been taken care of. These owners are greedy and don’t put any money back into the place.

Don't do it! But if you do don't complain!
This review will probably not be published or edited but its 100% factual. I NEVER complain. Honestly, I find it annoying when people do but now I understand. I have rented many homes before and never had an issue but this place shouldn't be rented. I know it's a business and money is involved but literally every complain in the review is warranted. I have extensive pictures and proof. If you saw them they would make you cringe. First, those stairs are not safe. 3 people from our party fell down the stairs. Your whole foot does not fit on the step so you cant grip when coming down. I broke my toe and my two young sons also fell. I called and complained that is was a safety issue. The area manager called me and basically said there was nothing he could do about it since it was spring break. So he offered me compensation! I told him it wasn't about the money but safety. He promised to send a handy man to put up a railing the next day. I never heard from him again. The carpet had just been cleaned but get on the floor and smell. It still smells like dog pee! This house has mold. Get an mold expert out there, you'll see. I have pictures of mold in various place. The house had 2 humidifiers we finally turned them on after being affected for two days and their catch basins were full within hours. They are mold catch bags and containers all over the house that are full of water. Those bags also have mold. Again, I have pictures. There is a hole in the roof of the closet upstairs and you can see mold. People have complained on the reviews. They just added the humidifiers and say remodeling will be done. The outdoor terrace outside feels like your gonna fall through. The chairs in the downstairs living room and eating table are disgusting with stains! the pictures are a misrepresentation! Blind dont open or close. Outlets dont work. Lamps have no knobs to turn on.The floor in the kitchen is bubbling up. The backyard is littered with trash. A propane tank in the yard looks like its about to explode from rust. The weird room on the side and creepy doll in the closet are also true. The holes in the drive way entrance, all true! Reach out to me please, let's talk. Go take a look at the place and tell me if you would take YOUR family there on vacation? This place should not be available for rent. Changing the mold preventing bags is not a solution. Bugs stuck to the ceiling lights because you stayed them with bug spray but didnt bother to clean it. Walls dirty

Perfect family and pet friendly no frills beach house super close to the beach.
We loved our week at this house. With 4 bedrooms there was plenty of space for our group of 10 to be together or be separate. The beach was so close that we went multiple times each day, rain or shine. We enjoyed perusing the hundreds of videos available and playing the games in the house. We were impressed with all the cookware the house offered, and our dog loved spending the week with us. Thanks for helping us make wonderful memories!

Great value, even better location
Funky older house like the kind I grew up in on the coast. We had a few different groups visit us there and everyone enjoyed their stay. Right next to the beach access and across the street from ocean front houses (i.e. you can see the ocean from the house and decks). Walking distance from the Side Door Cafe which was incredibly good food to boot! Most of the time we cooked in the house and the kitchen was perfectly adequate. It wasn't clear from the description but the house has 3 bedrooms AND a small detached studio bedroom. There was a fireplace but unfortunately no firewood for it which was a bummer! Overall it was a great value for the price and I would definitely stay here again!
