Best service ever.
Amazing hotel, probably the best service ever. They are in all little details that really make the difference. I would definitely recommend and hope to get back someday. Great vibe, nice restaurants and bars and very helpful people.

This hotel is brilliant, staff are friendly and welcoming. There were lovely touches like any cot, bath and fresh puree meals as well as offers to wash and sterilise the babies bottles! This made the holiday with a 6 month old much more relaxing. Food quality was nice as well as the stock in the minibar. Perks such as sunglasses cleaning, face mist and free water sports were also a touch.

A fantastic hotel for those looking for somewhere to relax and switch off the decor of the hotel is beautiful and the staff cannot do enough for you. Food was great with a varied choice our favourite being Bodrum Blue restaurant you definitely need to do at least half board as nowhere near to eat. Lots of activities going on especially those who like water sports would definitely recommend this hotel for those wanting a resort based holiday it’s position on the Island is 90 mins from most activities and the airport hopefully will be back again

One of the best places on Mauritius
The staff was superb. Every need was met without question and with joyful attitude. Property was beautiful and lots of activities available. The buffet had many options with excellent chefs.

A good place. Wish we were told about the different things the hotel offers on our first day so we could get things booked in. Sadly there was no spaces for massages and no one ran us through the other activities. We had great service from the waiters (sahid) and others. The room was nice, lots of ants however all over the desk!

Disappointing experience- would not recommend
We chose to stay at the Lux Grand Gaube believing it would be the perfect place to elope. However, poor communication from the dedicated wedding planner over a period of almost 6 months caused us to cancel our plans to be married there. In the end this was the better decision as our experience at the hotel was disappointing overall. No confirmation was received from the hotel of a prearranged airport transfer until prompted. The check in was slow, disorganized and unwelcoming. Our assigned suite was near a section of the hotel under construction and was otherwise populated with many families. We were told no other rooms were available, but we would be advised if another room or an upgrade became available. We received no further communication from anyone about a room change over the course of our 8 nights there. However, we did receive encouragement to upgrade to one of the meal plans. We ate at 4 of the hotel restaurants and found the food generally to be over priced and average at best. Our reasons for cancelling our wedding at the hotel were communicated to the resort management at the time & well in advance our our arrival. Apologies for the inconvenience were expressed, but no effort was made to improve our stay once we arrived. Apologies were also expressed when details of our disappointing experience while at the resort were communicated at the end of our stay. A $150 USD discount was offered and declined as it was of little consequence against our whole experience.

Great setting, exceptional service and experience. Down sides were: evening entertainment finished too early (around 10pm) so you would miss it if you were dining at other restaurants in the resort and the bar didn’t really stay open past 11pm. Also if you weren’t all inclusive - very overpriced drinks compared to other local places.

The staff were very polite and always ready to help. The receptionist Leticia was always smiling, the staff at cafe Lux, Neelam and Sylvano have excellent customer care, the barman Mr R Jhuree always approachable and friendly, with a great smile and has excellent communication skills. The main restaurant staff were excellent and the food choices for breakfast and dinner were excellent, the whole family enjoyed it as the spread had a great selection🇲🇺. The facilities within the hotel is excellent. We had an excellent family break.
