While an older property, has been totally renovated. Feels brand new as soon as you walk in. Rooms not large but perfect for 2 people .Is well kept , clean, very helpful staff. Very peaceful, surrounded by clean air . Would highly recommend for overnight stay. Exceptionally well priced

Good location
Garden Motor Inn is just a couple of minutes drive into town. Bed was comfortable and the electric blanket was nice and cosy for the cold winter nights. Refurb in the bathroom with a great rain head shower. Easy parking outside the room. Would stay again.

Good night stay. Only problem in no.21 is left side electric blanket didnt work - but it lights up as if it does and it was a cold night. Airconditioner worked well. TV extremely small for a big room. Hard to fill kettle with water so had to cup in as small sink and low tap.

For an old motel that has been bypassed by the highway relocation, it was surprising. The outside was fairly dated. Inside the room I stayed in was WoW. Clean, functional, modern, which included the bathroom, bedroom and amenities wardrobe / kitchenette. The price was EXCELLENT. I have often paid $30-$40 more for the same level of accommodation at other motels. The manager phoned me at 5.30pm to ask what time I would arrive. Told him around 9.30pm, and asked if he could please turn the air con to heat the room before I arrive. Got in at 10pm with outside air temp 6 degrees. Room was toasty warm. Turned on the electric blanket, showered, had a cuppa and into bed. Slept like a log until 8.00am. HIGHLY recommend, and will stay here whenever I again drive to Melbourne.
