Hotel was conveniently located opposite the central train station. Lots of dining options nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only negative was the lack of air conditioning in the room. We travelled in late September so not especially hot outside but our room on the 5th floor was very warm during the night even with the windows wide open. Having the windows open also added to the noise from outside. There was a lot of shouting from a group of people who were in the adjacent alley most of the night.

Convenient location. BUT no air conditioning and if you open the windows it is REALLY LOUD outside. Hotel design had us taking bags up elevator, down several hallways, up and down stairs, and then up another elevator. Not ideal.

Warning - No air conditioning so had to try to sleep with windows open but the yelling and screaming from the street continued all night and was still going at 6:00am - we had fans but they did not help!

Loved the location of the hotel, so close to the train station. The city just really needs to clean up the area. It’s such a bad first impression, to come and see how dirty everything is. But, the hotel and staff were very accommodating.

This is the hotel you want for exploring the city. It’s clean, bed is comfortable, staff is friendly and it’s a few meters away from the main train station. You have several restaurants around and based on my experience, it’s relatively safe.

I enjoyed my stay here, and I would definitely stay again. The hotel is a 2 min walk from Hamburg Hauptbahnof, giving easy access to the S bahn and U bahn trains. The hotel staff were great and all spoke good English. The area around the hotel has good bars and restaurants, the homeless people and beggars near the Hauptbahnof may put some people off; this is beyond the control of the hotel, and at no point did I feel unsafe.

Lovely hotel right next to the train station. Great amenities, very friendly staff, clean, and an excellent option if you’re passing through (I may even consider for a longer stay). They are limited by the architecture of the building so don’t expect your standardized hotel space but they have made excellent use, offering a great lounge area upstairs, left luggage, water refill, and even throw in transportation pass for several days. I had a great stay and would definitely come back!
