Up arrival welcoming was underwhelming. The guy didn't wear a mask or give us full details re our stay, breakfast venue etc (the basics). For almost R2000 - We had to carry our own bags to the room. When we got to the room, we paid for champagne but got sparkling wine instead. No coffee/ espresso machine as advertised. No robes or slippers as advertised. We eventually got beige robes but no slippers when we asked. The aircon, jet tub and curtains didnt work properly. The bar fridge was empty, even if we wanted snacks none were available for us to purchase. There was no way of contacting the reception; I had to walk down the stairs to look for the guy to assist with anything. I honestly regretted booking there, my birthday was spoilt as I kept getting disappointed. The shower, the options were scorching hot or freezing cold
no in between. I travel alot and can tell you that I have gone to cheaper places that offered better service. Now I know why we we were the only guests booked there; no one would ever go back there. Considering that we booked one of their best rooms; I'd hate to see how the cheaper rooms are. Never again...no thanks!!! Didnt even stay for breakfast as I didn't want to be disappointed further. Don't waste your money going here. The owner clearly has no passion for this so they should go into a different business.
