We stayed for 4 days. Had a great time. The room had an excellent view of Hilo Bay and we spent a lot of time on the balcony. Staff were great. Room was clean. The lobby had a great vibe in the evening and the free drink coupons offered to guests was a great perk. The hotel is under some renovation but that didn’t impact our enjoyment.

We have stayed a total of 3 times and we will staying with SCP Hilo again! Absolutely love the option of an onsite massage. Randy is fabulous!

Nice property, no AC but wasn’t a huge problem, room stayed cool with fans throughout the night. Pool was small but didn’t get a chance to try it. Beds were comfortable and liked that the had extra amenities in room.(full size fridge, microwave, sink and dish rack) Friendly and quick front desk :)

Friendly staff. Relatively quiet. Convenient parking. Nice view.

The property manager responded to my text very expediently and helped work out my concern. House was very clean, as was the jacuzzi. Also appreciated not having to deal with any keys-made check-in and check-out so much easier

This house was a wonderful place to stay. There was no air-conditioning in this place but it was not needed. The wind coming off the sea was sufficient to cool the house and sometimes at night it was cold. The sounds of the waves crashing against the cliffs was the best "white noise" to fall asleep or read your favorite book. The place is stocked with the tools you need to cook with. The neighbors are quiet and friendly. The place is conveniently located close to the Volcano National Park so you can vist the Volcano. We did get to see the eruption during our stay. Several hiking trails beaches located near by. Kona is about two hours away but is worth the drive for the beautiful scenery. Mauna Loa is beautiful. The owners are very nice and are easy to reach if you have questions. Don't feed the chickens! Lol
