I wasn't expecting a lot from an overnight Motel stop, but sadly this fell slightly short. Room was ok, bathroom very basic, easy check in/out, and parking right at door, very convenient. The Motel advertisers a tennis court, my daughter was looking forward to a game after a long drive, unfortunately the court is overgrown with weeds, no net, and clearly hasn't been usable for some years. It's dissapointing they're still advertising this as a feature.

I had an absolutely terrible experience staying at this motel. I found a black spider under the wardrobe, and there were wood mite insects everywhere—on the beds, pillows, towels, walls, and even the ceiling. It would have been better to sleep in my car or continue driving through the night than to spend another moment in that room! I was particularly concerned for my baby’s safety. None of us slept well as we tried to avoid all areas infested with insects, just to get some rest before continuing our journey the next day. We were also terrified that the insects might get into our belongings and come home with us. Although the motel provided insect spray, I don’t think this was an adequate solution. I strongly advise against staying at this motel—it was an appalling experience!

The room for 2 adults & 2 children was comfortable, clean & modern. The kids swam in the pool which was good enough to cool down on a 36 degree day. We were disappointed the restaurant was closed without any prior notification. This made it difficult to find somewhere decent for dinner & no breakfast options. Overall, our room was very good for a one night stop over.

Efficient and friendly check-in. Room was in good condition, comfortable, and pretty quiet. If you’re tempted to try the on-site restaurant get yourself a booking at check in. I arrived unannounced to the restaurant on a group booking night and I was lucky that the crew were able to squeeze me in, for what was, a tasty dinner at a reasonable price.

The room was modern and clean and looks even better in person than the photos. We had a second room for the kids which was large with their on couch, 2x single beds, heater/aircon and TV. The kids loved their room. The linen was nice and clean and crisp. Bathroom updated and clean. The service from the hotel manager was great, we arranged a late check in and early check out and was very easy. He even recommended the Hay Pizza bar for dinner that would still be open when we arrived late which was one thing we didn’t have to worry about when we got to Hay with the kids. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

I wouldn’t reckon this place to anyone. Small restaurant less than 20 tables you would think you would get decent service. Walked in at 7.00pm got food at 9.00pm. Asked for garlic bread it was given to the wrong table and was served food after everyone else had eaten and left. Another table got uncooked food. We will not be returning. The shower in the room was not satisfactory either with no water pressure just dribbled out
