Kandy is situated 25 kilometres from Hewaheta and has a population of 110,000. When you're there, you'd be nuts if you didn't have a gander at the Sri Dalada Maligawa, the Kandyan Art Association & Cultural Centre and British Garrison Cemetery. The National Museum and the International Buddhist Museum are a couple more sights that are sure to offer up some envy-inducing photo ops.
