Visit during cold weather
The temperature was below freezing at night during my stay and there were no blankets in the home resulting in a cold sleeping experience even with the fireplace on. The instructions were confusing and lacking where it would have been helpful. Instructions talked about a key that was to be put in a lock box when no key was actually needed. There should have been instructions to operate the gazebo lights & mentioning the remote. Batteries in remotes should be checked before guests arrive to make sure they are operational.

Cozy Getaway
This was the perfect spot for a cozy getaway! The proximity to Franklin, Sylva, and Clayton made it the perfect spot for being in the mountains but close to all the amenities. Highly recommended!

Quiet Escape
Our overall experience was fantastic! The whole house was so clean and well maintained. It was the perfect quiet getaway! The only complaint we had was ants in the bedroom, but it’s in the woods so it’s to be expected. Overall a wonderful experience and peaceful getaway! We will definitely be back!

First time Little House stay
Having a 6’2 man staying in a little house was intriguing to see how that would work. Well, it did! Everything was clearly marked, easily reached. Really appreciated all of the instructions on working the ACs. One little item we noticed…and we were aware of being “in nature”, several dead bugs on bedside tables & bug droppings. Even a few on the sheets when we turned back the bed covers. All in all the size of a hotel room with much nicer features and decor. Will definitely try it again when next in the area.

Property was beautiful. Location wasn't the greatest. No wifi, cell or cable.
The property was very pretty. The location was a little to secluded for us. There wasn't much to do in the area without traveling an hour or more. No wifi or cell service the entire time we were there. Our hotspot wouldn't work either. Also no cable so we rented movies from the red box. We stayed 5 days and were only left with 2 rolls of toilet paper and 3 garbage bags (definitely not enough for the 5 days). You have to haul your own trash to the dump which is 10 minutes down the road by car. However, the house was clean and the bed was comfy. The views were pretty too. I don't recommend if your traveling with older kids.

Great experience!
Amazing views and great property! Would highly recommend to anyone. Only thing I would note is the internet was not strong so make sure you have a hotspot if you want to stream movies!
