This is a beautiful property. Everything you need is here. Employees are friendly and great care is taken by workers to make sure everything is running smoothly. When you have anything that you need at your room you can simply text and the hotel promptly responds. Like 5 minutes. During our stay the world Pokémon championships were taking place during the first three days. I feel the hotel was much too congested at this time. After that was clued up the congestions lifted and it was a more relaxing stay. Mahalo!

I honestly expected more from a hilton hotel resort, the rooms really need to updated!! The hotel is located in a central area which was probably the best thing. The pools were very dirty, dingy and smelled like chlorine not recommended unless you want a yeast infection. there was no play area for smaller kids. The poolside food areas did not offer tasty food and very overpriced for the quality. Very disappointed !!

The property is beautiful and the location is fantastic! Right on the beach. There are a lot of amenities. The gym had some equipment that was broken and needs updating. The rooms in the Rainbow tower have incredible views but the tvs weren’t smart tvs so you couldn’t watch Netflix and the dvds that they had are a little out of date for this type of hotel. The rooms definitely needed some updating for the price. They look like they hadn’t been updated in years. No privacy in the bathroom at all. The shopping was great! The staff were all so friendly! Definitely good points but the biggest complaint was the rooms as they look 20 years old. Also need better pillows. The pillows are flat and hard to sleep on. I would rate 4 stars because the property is so beautiful but 3.5 stars because of old outdated rooms. Also, expect to spend $75 plus more per day for upgraded rooms and resort charge and taxes. That was a bummer.

Great Views At This Hotel!!

Very relaxing resort and GREAT views from the balconies! If you want to be close to the water, request for the Rainbow Tower. The resort can be a bit busy at times, but the staff are all friendly and the grounds are consistently kept clean. If you are close enough to the water, try having the balcony’s sliding glass door open at night to let the sounds of the waves put you to sleep!

Pros: My family and I enjoyed the HHV due to its location, grounds and proximity to shopping, dining, etc. Cons: Rooms need updating. My reservation was for 5 and they gave me one bed. Then offered a rollaway which we had a great deal of difficulty navigating around. The room was very small, with very little closet space/storage. For the price, I would expect a larger more modern room.

Expected more for the price.

The housekeepers were the best. Valet was rude. They lack organization at check in. No microwave to reheat food so food was wasted. Refrigerator did not cool down our drinks. They were room temperature.

I was so relaxed at this resort and LOVED the view from my balcony. If you want to be close to the water, request for the Rainbow Tower.
