The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. Our room was at the rear of the hotel and so we had a lovely view of the surrounding countryside. A very delicious breakfast was included in the tariff. We stayed there for four days and included in those four days was an 80th birthday party. The catering for the birthday reflected the very high quality of the service we experienced during our stay. My wife and I would definitely stay again should we visit from Australia.

Great Food
The hotel is relatively new, very clean and well presented. The food was excellent and certainly good value for money. The duty manager was very helpful and he obviously works very hard. Other staff would benefit from some training in order to bring service levels up to a higher level. Recommended.

Lovely bar and restaurant pub in beautiful Yorkshire. Very warm welcome on arrival, even though i was late, and great service whilst i was there. Id definitely stay again

It's lovely place. Breakfast was was really good. Did not have time to use the spa ! :( Only thing you need to mindful of is if your going to check-in after 10:30 pm call them to arrange pick-up of keys!

This is a lovely place in a quiet location, reasonable price and a really good restaurant. I wasn't overly enamoured with the room as i like a window to provide proper ventilation and fresh air. Air con only went to 19 degrees and it was a warm muggy night. Lovely staff and very clean. Spa onsite too although i didnt use.

Comfortable and convenient for what I was in the area for. Room has all you need and was well presented and clean. Good car parking. Breakfasts were good with properly poached eggs. Staff were friendly and a special mention needs to be made for my excellent welcome at reception by the young man behind the bar. Would certainly use again

I have stayed here previously so was happy to book again. However the room this time was a disappointment; next to the lift so obviously very noisy, bathroom rather unpleasant damp smell. Good that we were only there for 2 nights or I would have complained. Overall still a nice place to stay as the location is very convenient for me to visit family in the area.

A generously sized room, massive and comfy bed and superb shower. All very clean.The evening meal in the restaurant was very good. If we are in the area again I would choose to stay here.
