Friendly welcome from Nicky ( the owner) always on hand if needed . clean spacious room , amazing views , delicious freshly cooked breakfast on request, along with fresh juices , fruit , Pastries and cereal to help yourself too.

Like location in open countryside with views of the surrounding area. Like the bespoke breakfasts, but missed black pudding not being on the menu. Lack of reception area or desk caused some confusion on arrival but sorted through quick phone call to landlords Nicky and her partner.

What a great place to stay
What a great place to say. Really great location for sight seeing around the area. We had two units next to each other, both were super comfy. Nicky, the owner is so welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast is amazing. We will definitely be back.

We had finished visiting friends in a small village about an hour away, and were headed home to the States the next day. The Chevin guesthouse was a perfect option for getting to the LBA airport the next day. We stayed in room 13, which was actually in a barrack on the property, so not the actual guesthouse. Still, it was a very clean and quiet room, and had everything we needed to get a hot shower and a nice night's sleep. The view from our back door/window was peaceful and beautiful. Nikky was helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed a good basic breakfast the morning before we left. We could have enjoyed a full breakfast that was offered, but we didn't have the time. Nikky provided us a number for a taxi service, and the trip to LBA airport was less than 15 minutes. We'd defintely stay here again if/when we visit our pals.

Room with a view
Great location. Room with views over valley below. Large spacious room. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Nicki great host. Excellent and plenty off road parking. Shower tray found slippery which made it awkward stepping into out of shower. Non slip mat would help. Large professional taken photos of area on wall in dining room for sale. Tempted. Many good pubs etc in easy driving distance with one top of driveway next to guest house. Overall highly recommended and without hesitation would stay again when in area.
